We are committed to delivering world-class solutions that are innovative and efficient, while always putting safety first.\nAbout the Job:\nResponsible for the technical and operational supervision of various marine units operating for the Department, including (but not limited to) jack-up units, DP2 MPSVs, AHTSs, DSVs, CTVs and MultiCats, ensuring that all units are maintained in a safe condition and that operating systems and procedures are clearly established, adhered to by crews and complied with at all times.\nJob Specific Accountabilities Part 1:\nMinimise marine unit downtime\nMaintain and improve the operational capabilities of all designated marine units\nMaintain cost control by complying with approved budget thresholds\nEnsure project deadlines are met in an effective and efficient manner\nPromote an incident-free safety culture\nAchieve 100% internal and external customer satisfaction\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives\nMaintain class compliance with ISM, statutory and local regulations\nImplement a systematic and scheduled planned maintenance programme\nEnsure unit compliance with IMS requirements\nRecommend cost-saving initiatives without compromising safety and integrity parameters\nMonitor all class, flag and required certifications for assigned units and advise line management accordingly\nArrange for class surveyors to attend units for statutory surveys and maintain units to class standards\nEnsure valid navigational licences and security passes for units and onboard crew\nEnsure technical compliance with local regulations and those defined in charter parties\nEngage with the management team to rectify and close out SDRs in a timely manner\nMinimum Requirements:\nSTCW II/2 (Unlimited) -Certificate of Competency -
