This includes assuming responsibility for the entire NG Network and the CNG stations network in the Emirates. To manage the development and establishment of policies and procedures for NGD activities and provide the NGD and management the data needed for effective and efficient execution and control of the NG network and CNG stations operations. To ensure that all performed activities under this role are in compliance with applicable HSE policies and procedures at all times.\nJob Specific Accountabilities\nPlans, directs, co-ordinates and supervises the operation activities and assigned personnel. \nPerforms management functions at the level established by Senior Management.\nManages the development and establishment of policies and procedures for NGD activities and provide the NGD and management the data needed for effective and efficient execution and control of the NG network and CNG stations operations.\nManages the operation of gas PRS, Steel, PE network and CNG station procedures and activities to the standards required by the Company.\nManages the Gas Purchase Agreements (GSA) with the main gas suppliers including joint meter reading, GRN’s and calibration of custody transfer equipment’s.\nActs as Authorizing Engineer for the PRS, Steel, PE and CNG station operation and maintenance related activities and participates in the development of non-routine live gas operation procedures and provide support during emergency response situations.\nEstablish the NGD operation and maintenance Health, Safety and Environment Management processes. \nRemains fully conversant with all international developments in the field of Natural Gas, PRS, Steel, PE and CNG technology. Investigate, identify, and evaluate, benchmark and implements best practice in Natural Gas business.\nEvaluate potential contractor and suppliers and their services for the various NGD services as required.\nParticipate in projects reviews like HAZOP, HSEIA, HAZID and Risk Assessments….etc as and when required.\nReview all operation and maintenance projects to ensure planning, organization and supervision, verify the completeness. Ensure that facilities delivered are safe, reliable in view of different natures, diversity of each system, equipment & facilities and the complexity of the technology involved. \nControls, monitors and directs opportunities for training and development of employees under his direction (with emphasis on UAE Nationals) and assesses their progress. This includes on-the job training, counselling and competency based development.\nPerforms other related or similar duties as assigned including technical reviews of modifications and changes to operations documentations/Manuals/Operation Procedures.\nParticipates in Emergency and Incident Standby Rota.\nAttends and participates Project related meetings as required.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned by his/her Manager.\nEnsures that the documents in his custody are maintained and updated as per Document Control Procedures.\nSupervise his team efficiently.\nInternal Communications & Working Relationships\nReports to the NG Operation and Maintenance Department Manager.\nHas regular contact with his counterparts in other Divisions on related matters.\nHas frequent contact with other employees in the Division.\nExternal Communications & Working Relationships\nHas frequent contact with GASCO, SEWA , Dolphin Energy and other the gas suppliers.\nHas frequent contact with developers regarding the network in new developments.\nMinimum Qualification\nBachelors in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent\nMinimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills\n8-10 years operational experience in the Oil & Gas Industry of which 5 years in senior supervisory capacity, with good IT skills. \nGood working knowledge of Computers.\nGood Leadership and Interpersonal skills.\nHigh Problem solving and decision making ability.\nEffective planning and organization capabilities.\nGood knowledge of English language.
