Agentic Governance extends these foundations to AI agents: who an agent is, what it may do, and a verifiable record of what it did.\nYou will design, build, deploy, and own production-grade services at Adobe scale, while gaining exposure to groundbreaking agentic AI and governance technologies.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild, develop, and manage services supporting agentic governance across audit, catalog, consent, and authorization-like domains.\nImplement authorization, policy, and identity components using Python, integrating with existing Java-based services where needed.\nShip an AI agent capability to production, including tool calling / MCP integration, coordination, assessments, and safeguards.\nBuild and maintain well-tested APIs and backend services, following strong engineering fundamentals.\nDeploy and operate services in cloud environments, taking ownership of reliability and performance, including on-call.\nTake initiative and ownership of assigned platform development efforts, optimizing for reliability, scalability, and security of agentic systems.\nCollaborate with senior engineers, architects, and product partners across engineering, security, and privacy to help shape governance standards for agentic systems.\nParticipate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.\nWhat You Need to Succeed\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on work building an LLM or agent feature used in production or by internal users, with tools, skills, evals, and guardrails.\nStrong proficiency in Python.\nSolid backend fundamentals: building and testing APIs, and deploying services to the cloud.\nExperience with storing and retrieving data (SQL or NoSQL DBs).\nExperience with cloud service platforms (AWS and/or Azure).\nExcellent communication skills, proficiency in English, both verbal and written.\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.\nPreferred Qualifications\nJava/JVM experience, enough to integrate with existing services.\nExperience with observability tools and distributed tracing.\nFamiliarity with governance concepts such as RBAC/ABAC, OAuth/OIDC, or policy engines.\nAbout Adobe\nAdobe empowers all individuals to build through innovative platforms and tools that unleash creativity, efficiency, and personalized customer experiences.
