Play a key role in delivering superior digital experiences by developing strong solutions that boost efficiency and achievement for our internal teams. Collaborate with a flexible team of engineers to build flawless tools and systems that support our colleagues in performing at their best.\nThis is an onsite position in the San Jose office.\nWhat you'll Do\nDevelop and maintain backend systems that interact with cloud providers (Azure, AWS and GCP) and various internal and external services.\n\nLead and contribute to Agile development processes, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.\n\nCollaborate with a team of 25 engineers across multiple time zones to craft, build, and optimize internal-facing tools.\n\nImplement and improve APIs, ensuring they meet robust performance and security standards.\n\nApply your expertise in Java and cloud development to solve complex problems and build scalable solutions.\n\nMentor and guide junior engineers, encouraging a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.\n\nApply DevOps practices to improve the deployment and monitoring of our systems, ensuring their smooth and efficient operation.\n\nWhat you need to succeed\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, 5-10 years experience, or equivalent.\n\nProven expertise in Java development.\n\nExtensive experience with cloud APIs, e.g., AWS or Azure Java SDK, to build and manage complete applications.\n\nExtensive DevOps experience, with a detailed understanding of deployment and monitoring methods for cloud-native software.\n\nA proactive approach-you take initiative, anticipate challenges, and don’t wait to be told what to do.\n\nAI-first development experience.\n\nWhat will help you stand out from the crowd\nExperience with Chef, API development, and Python development.\n\nExperience building and deploying microservices using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nOutstanding problem-solving skills and a proven ability to successfully implement ambitious projects.\n\nFront-end development experience and familiarity with Adobe AEM.\n\nFollow Agile methodologies and collaborate effectively within a diverse and distributed team.\n\nExcellent communication skills, with a determination to drive projects to successful completion.\n\nAbout Adobe\nAdobe empowers everyone to create through innovative platforms and tools that unleash creativity, productivity and personalized customer experiences. The U.S. pay range for this position is $139,000 - $257,550 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
