Senior Business Consultant - Content & Commerce
Position Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team that provides consulting services for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) products and solutions, including Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service (ACCS). AEM helps customers organize and manage the delivery of creative assets and other content across digital marketing channels, including web, mobile, email, social media, and video. The AEM consulting team is responsible for providing expert skills in the implementation of the Adobe AEM solution offering as well as integrating complementary Adobe enterprise solutions and interfacing with clients' existing IT infrastructure.
Adobe Consulting engagements involve full life-cycle project delivery, in-depth product and technical consulting, and mentoring and knowledge transfer to customers - as well as helping customers change the organization around the technology so they fully realize the value of their investment. We are looking for experienced and dedicated Digital Marketing Business Consultants to join the Adobe Consulting Delivery team. These key Business Consultants will work with our multi-functional solution teams to deliver incremental high-quality solutions and drive lasting business adoption. The ideal candidate will bring confirmed experience in delivering AEM solutions helping to lead large and sophisticated multi-technology agile projects, while possessing the skills to interact, and work with a broad range of personalities and functions, including the client, business owners, engineers, project operations, quality assurance, project managers and product management.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality consulting services to our growing client base, functioning as a lead Product Owner for our enterprise projects and lead ambassador in client relationships.
- Deliver services with deep understanding of the AEM, EDS, and ACCS platforms and best implementation practices, leading with deep expertise in the Content and Web Experience domain.
- Partner with the pre-sales team on SOW review and sales-to-delivery handoff to ensure scope, requirements, and dependencies are well defined before kickoff.
- Facilitate business value and organizational readiness workshops to define objectives, KPIs, and adoption plans, and guide customers in shaping the operating model and governance needed to sustain the platform.
- Keep business and technical stakeholders aligned throughout delivery, surfacing and resolving adoption risks early so customers are ready to adopt and sustain what's being delivered.
- Effectively analyze complex project issues, identify gaps and the possible solution options, and facilitate the presentation and review of the options along with our recommended solution with the client.
- Mentor and guide others on the team, and lead in identifying, capturing, and distributing knowledge and standard methodologies with clients, partners, and colleagues.
- Own key readiness and outcome checkpoints throughout the engagement, and help ensure training and governance are in place before go-live so customers can maintain and build on the solution after Adobe's engagement ends. Requirements:
- 5-10 years' experience in the Web and/or ECMS technologies.
- 3+ years of direct client consulting experience.
- Previous experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Business Analyst and as a Scrum Master or Project Manager.
- Understanding or experience in using productized APIs, SaaS, SOA, Cloud Services, and Content Management Systems.
- Experience with Agile Scrum process along with Backlog Management and Wiki systems such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with enterprise software implementation.
- Experience reviewing and elaborating business and technical requirements.
- Experience with developing requirements for interfaces, integrations, and production data migrations.
- Experience facilitating workshops and translating business objectives into measurable KPIs and adoption or governance plans a plus.
- Understanding or experience in organizational change management or operating-model design alongside a technology implementation a plus.
- Experience leading delivery governance across business, product, technology, and client stakeholders, aligning requirements, priorities, dependencies, and risks a plus.
- Experience managing readiness, decision points, adoption, and governance activities throughout the implementation lifecycle a plus.
- Understanding or experience in user experience design and UI development a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Superb communication skills.
- Ability to optimally collaborate in a multi-functional team environment.
- Development or product testing experience a plus.
- AEM Business Practitioners certification a plus.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of experience.
- Position may require up to 15% travel.

Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $134,400 - $245,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $169,400 - $245,300 In New York, the pay range for this position is $169,400 - $245,300 In Washington, the pay range for this position is $156,000 - $225,900At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
