We're hiring a senior Software Engineer to own the engineering behind that: the integration layer, the abstractions, and the evaluation systems. This is a hands-on senior role on a team of senior and principal engineers.\nWhat you'll do\nDesign and build the integration layer to model providers and partner services.\nBuild API clients, routing, and fallback logic.\nKeep the platform model-independent through clean abstractions.\nOwn the systems that evaluate model quality, latency, cost, and reliability.\nLead the engineering to onboard new models and partners.\nMake each new model fast, well-tested, and low-risk to adopt.\nBuild instrumentation and dashboards that show how models behave in production.\nLead build-vs-buy and integration decisions for engineering leadership.\nHarden integrations against outages, latency spikes, and rate limits.\nMentor engineers and set the standards for integration work.\nWhat you'll need to succeed\n10+ years of software engineering.\nComplex backend or platform systems from design through production.\nMaster's degree or equivalent experience preferred.\nStrong hands-on skills in Python, Go, or Java.\nProficiency in AI-assisted development.\nHands-on experience with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, or AI/ML systems.\nA practical sense of where these systems fail in production.\nOwnership of full system designs and architectural decisions.\nExperience integrating third-party or cloud services and designing for failure.\nA history as a technical role model who mentors and influences hiring.\nAbout Adobe\nAdobe empowers everyone to create through innovative platforms and tools that unleash creativity, productivity and personalized customer experiences. The U.S. pay range for this position is $159,200 - $301,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
