formats.\nCreate configuration-driven onboarding instead of code-driven implementations.\n\nThe Reconciliation Engine: \nDesign confidence-based reconciliation across multiple source systems.\nDetect confidently wrong matches, not just unmatched records.\nOwn exception handling, auditing, and measurable accuracy.\n\nThe AI Grounding Layer: \nBuild constrained-query systems over free-form generation.\nImplement RAG, trace enforcement, and explainable outputs.\nEnsure every business number is verifiable.\nTreat \"I can't answer that\" as a feature, not a failure.\n\nMulti-Tenant Foundations: \nPostgreSQL Row-Level Security as the primary isolation mechanism.\nCross-tenant leakage testing in CI.\nRBAC, audit trails, and data-protection foundations.\n\nEvent-Driven Architecture: \nCelery-based event flows.\nCanonical data models.\nConfigurable integration patterns that keep onboarding a new dealer are a matter of configuration, not code.\n\nAI-Native Engineering Practices: \nDefine how the team uses AI coding agents.\nEstablish review standards and guardrails for AI-generated code.\nIncrease engineering leverage without compromising quality, correctness, or security.\n\nTechnical Leadership: \nSet conventions for code structure, API design, and testing.\nSupport junior engineers in owning features end-to-end.\nHelp shape engineering culture and future hiring practices.\n\nRequirements: \nAround 8 years of experience building production systems.\nDeep expertise in Python, Django, DRF, Celery, and PostgreSQL.\nExperience managing ORM migrations under changing schemas.\nStrong experience integrating messy external systems and reconciling data.\nPractical LLM and RAG experience, with healthy scepticism toward model outputs.\nPostgreSQL depth, including row-level security, performance optimisation, and multitenant patterns.\nPragmatic thinking about scale, knowing when a modular monolith and simple queues are the right choices.\nExperience building with AI coding agents and establishing a team around them.\nThe judgement to challenge unrealistic timelines, scope, or technical assumptions.\n\nNice to Have: \nFintech-grade or data-heavy reconciliation systems.\nEnterprise or legacy system integrations.\nFamiliarity with ISO 27001 DPDPA, or related security practices.\nWorking knowledge of Next.js and React.\n\nYou'll thrive here if:
