In this role, you will perform in-process and final inspections of aerospace components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer requirements, and industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001. The ideal candidate has strong inspection experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform first article, in-process, and final inspections on aerospace parts and assemblies\nInterpret and inspect to engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, and work instructions\nUse precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMMs\nDocument inspection results and maintain accurate records in accordance with AS9100 requirements\nInitiate nonconformance reports (NCRs) and support root-cause and corrective-action activities\nVerify supplier-provided materials and components against receiving requirements\nEnsure product traceability and proper use of documentation and traveler packets\nCollaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify and resolve issues\nSupport continuous improvement efforts and maintain a culture of quality and compliance\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong proficiency with hands-on metrology tools and measuring equipment\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (ANSI Y14.5)\nWorking knowledge of inspection documentation and non-conformance reporting\n Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong documentation skills\nBasic computer skills (MS Office, ERP/MRP systems, or Quality software)\nPreferred Qualifications\n2+ years of quality inspection experience in aerospace, precision machining, or a related field\nFamiliarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and general aerospace quality processes\nExperience with CMM programming or operation (PC-DMIS, Zeiss, or similar)\nExperience with first article inspection (FAI) and AS9102 documentation\nKnowledge of aerospace materials and manufacturing processes\nAS9100 / ISO 9001 and/or Internal Audit experience\nGage and Tool Calibration experience\nPhysical & Work Requirements\nAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up
