We sell our products through wholesale distribution across the United States and Canada for use on properties with onsite wastewater treatment systems.\nGENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:\nThis is an advanced level sales position that identifies, qualifies, pursues, and secures new business opportunities for the company. The Composites Sales Representative will identify and pursue new prospects and actively and diligently promote and solicit orders working with engineers, municipal/utility workers, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) , and other key business associates such as manufacturing reps to sell Orenco composites/fiberglass products. The incumbent will have primary responsibility for sales of Rectangular Tanks, DuraFiber Buildings, and Tank Covers. The incumbent will work through product layouts, various building layout/options, prepare quotes, follow-up with prospects and customers, maintain customer records, and will oversee product training, market education, and manufacturer rep network expansion.\nRemote\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & KRA (Key Result Areas):\nSafety/Culture\nContinuously maintains Orenco Management's safety, cultural, and professional standards.\nPromotes, encourages, and reinforces a positive safety culture, safe practices, and a safe work environment to all employees.\nPresents and sells company products to current and potential customers.\nProvides product demonstrations to engineers, municipalities, and others.\nDevelops and maintains sales presentations and current product knowledge.\nPerforms product layout and quoting.\nFollows up on projects throughout the sales cycle.\nCommunicates with manufacturing engineering and manufacturing departments to ensure correct development of submittal drawings, sales orders, and delivery of product to customers.\nReceives and evaluates customers specifications, drawings, and plans, providing suggestions and recommendations.\nDevelops sales plans and strategic plans to grow sales in territories and product lines.\nMeets established sales objectives.\nUp to 50% travel is required.\nWork to be done during manufacturing business hours, which may include an occasional early and/or later shift as needed. Occasional overtime may be required.\nRegular, consistent, and predictable attendance is required.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nEDUCATION:\nBS Degree in technical field or business is preferred.\nKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:\n5 years sales experience.\nThorough understanding of Orenco Composites capabilities and processes.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to communicate in a professional, courteous, and customer service-oriented manner.\nAbility to be self-directed and work as part of a team.\nExcellent organizational skills are required.\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and software.\nAbility to be flexible and adjust to priority changes with little notice and to remain calm during confrontational or high-pressure situations.\nAbility to use sound judgement and follow-through in problem-solving and decision-making processes.\nMust have satisfactory driving record, maintain valid driver's license, and current insurance on personal vehicle if used for business.
