Throughout the summer, interns also get exposure to ADT as a whole: sessions with different business units, briefings on current company priorities, and time with our executive leadership team, alongside a dedicated professional development track.\nWhere You Could Work\nDepending on team needs and background, interns may be placed in:\nDevSecOps and Application Security\n\nVulnerability and Threat Exposure Management\n\nCybersecurity Risk and Reporting\n\nSecurity Automation and AI\n\nTechnology Asset and Security Data Management\n\nPlacement is based on business needs, skillsets, academic background, and areas of interest. Project work may include analyzing vulnerabilities and security data, supporting application security and DevSecOps initiatives, improving visibility into technology assets and security exposures, evaluating emerging AI-enabled security capabilities, and developing dashboards or reports that help teams prioritize risk and remediation efforts.\nInterns may also research emerging cybersecurity practices, test security tools or capabilities, document findings, and work across technical and business teams to communicate security risks and recommendations.\nQualifications\nRequired\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field\n\nGraduating between December 2027 and May 2028\nCompletion of at least two upper-level (300/400) courses relevant to the internship discipline\nCumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to support or sponsor any U.S. immigration benefit (such as, but not limited to, H-1B, TN, STEM OPT) at this time.\nStandout Candidates Will Bring\nPrior internship, co-op, research, or independent project experience, along with the ability to clearly explain their individual contributions, decisions, and lessons learned\nCoursework or projects involving cybersecurity, risk management, governance, compliance, security operations, networking, or information systems\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity frameworks, vulnerability management concepts, or security monitoring tools \nStrong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills\nLeadership experience through student organizations, athletics, military service, community involvement, or campus initiatives\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills\nWhat Makes Someone Successful\nInterns who thrive in this program ask questions early, take ownership of their work, and look for opportunities to contribute beyond their assigned projects.
