Throughout the summer, interns also get exposure to ADT as a whole: sessions with different business units, briefings on current company priorities, and time with our executive leadership team, alongside a dedicated professional development track.\nWhere You Could Work\nDepending on team needs and background, interns may be placed in:\nHardware Engineering\nProduct Testing & Validation\nDevice Quality Engineering\nConnected Devices\nIoT Testing & Performance\nPlacement is based on business needs, skillsets, and academic background. Project work may include testing and validating hardware products, evaluating device performance, analyzing test results, supporting engineering improvements, assisting with product quality initiatives, and helping ensure connected devices meet customer and business requirements.\nQualifications\nRequired\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field\nGraduating between December 2027 and May 2028\nCompletion of at least two upper-level (300/400) courses relevant to the internship discipline\nCumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to support or sponsor any U.S. immigration benefit (such as, but not limited to, H-1B, TN, STEM OPT) at this time.\nStandout Candidates Will Bring\nPrior internship, co-op, research, or independent project experience, along with the ability to clearly explain their individual contributions, decisions, and lessons learned\n\nCoursework or projects involving electronics, embedded systems, hardware testing, robotics, or engineering design\n\nHands-on experience troubleshooting technical issues and evaluating performance\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nLeadership experience through student organizations, design teams, athletics, military service, community involvement, or campus initiatives\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\n\nHow ADT invests in you:\nCulture of professional development & training, including access to LinkedIn Learning, collaborative team support, and exposure to meaningful, real-world projects \nFront-line experience and opportunities to learn directly from leaders through our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Speaker Series \nCommitment to equity and inclusion through ongoing initiatives, employee resource groups, and employee recognition programs \nVolunteer opportunities to give back and make a difference in the communities we serve\nCompensation & Internship Details\nCompensation: $24/hour for undergraduates, $28/hour for those enrolled in a graduate program.\nWork Schedule: A 40-hour workweek is expected, with interns on-site from Monday to Thursday in our Boca Raton Headquarters, and the option to work remotely on Fridays, depending on team schedules. \nU.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, as we do not offer sponsorship. \nMust be available for the entire duration of the internship program, from May 17-July 29, 2027. \nHousing allowance and relocation assistance are not offered for Internship roles.\nWhat Makes Someone Successful\nInterns who thrive in this program ask questions early, take ownership of their work, and look for opportunities to contribute beyond their assigned projects.
