This role is responsible for managing the procurement activities across several business units covering over a billion dollars in spend annually, across hundreds of suppliers, using numerous technologies.\nThis position manages procurement operations and strategies to ensure materials and services meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing. Oversees supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and risk management while ensuring compliance with company regulations. Responsible for daily procurement transaction and systems tasks in supported commodities and projects. Provides support to employees on all procurement and system related matters and maintains effective communications and interface with the organization and the suppliers. This position will assist in systems management and provide leadership on optimizing processes across the procurement team.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nAbility to deconstruct and solve complex business problems; analyze situations, develop strategies, present and persuade others of strategy, effectively and efficiently execute strategy.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously with frequent communication touchpoints.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all category activities are aligned to a common set of goals and priorities.\nCollaborate with the Procurement Technology Manager to ensure procurement systems, workflows, integrations, and controls align with procurement processes, policies, and business requirements.\n\nAnalyze deals to understand total cost of ownership and identify opportunities for optimization. Implement cost reduction initiatives through effective internal stakeholders / supplier partnerships working closely with the Sourcing team for competitive bidding scenarios.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Promote ethical business practices and uphold the highest standards of integrity in all dealings with suppliers and internal stakeholders.\nMaintain a high-level knowledge of all procurement, supplier, contract management and sourcing solution suites.\nDevelop and maintain resilient processes, including appropriate business continuity procedures, to support efficient operations. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend opportunities to reduce cost, strengthen controls, and improve efficiency.\n\nProcure product and services from suppliers at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need. \nProcess purchase orders in accordance with company standards and policies and procedures.\nReview procurement of non-standard items. Working with Sourcing and selects suppliers for lower cost items or items of limited scope and complexity, and negotiates price, delivery, quality, and service.\nMaintain and assist with communicating changes to product standards, price changes, and policies. \nProvide systems user guides and training as needed on Procurement systems and policies.\nCreate and review operational reports and dashboards to monitor purchase orders, invoices, payments, cycle times, compliance, and other key procurement performance indicators.\n\nReview supplier accounts aging reports to ensure all purchases are paid in a timely manner.\nManage procure-to-pay (P2P) system forms, templates, approval workflows, user access, reference data, and related operational configurations.\n\nOversee catalog management with suppliers.\nOversee end-to-end procurement operations across requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, invoicing, and payment processes, partnering with Accounts Payable, Finance, Sourcing, Legal, IT, and business stakeholders to resolve exceptions and improve cycle times.\n\nEstablish and monitor service levels, key performance indicators, and operational controls for procurement transactions, supplier enablement, catalogs, system support, and invoice exception management.\n\nSupport the implementation, testing, deployment, and adoption of new P2P, ERP, contingent workforce, and contract lifecycle management features and business requirements.\n\nMonitor P2P system compliance, approval controls, data quality, and process effectiveness, and maintain supporting documentation for internal audit and regulatory requirements.\n\nCoordinate supplier and user support for P2P systems by triaging issues, submitting and tracking support tickets, troubleshooting root causes, and escalating defects as needed.\n\nActively involved in the solution implementation to ensure that solutions are accurately scoped and delivered in line with the expectations of the business.\nWork on final configuration set up and guide customers in UAT.\nAct as primary back up to T&E and Procurement systems manager understanding systemic maintenance, change actions, and administration.\nOther procurement and systems duties and special projects as assigned.\nCompetencies:\nData driven, analytic mindset, and skills to find business insight and procurement opportunities (saving, process improvement, supplier continuous improvement, etc.). \nEager to learn, ability to learn new tools and technology quickly. \nStrong working knowledge of enterprise procurement technology, including procure-to-pay, contingent workforce management, ERP, travel and expense, e-signature, and contract lifecycle management solutions.\n\nWork collaboratively and proactively to drive results.\nCan prioritize effectively by spending time on what’s important, eliminates roadblocks, and creates focus.\nStrong change management skills and knows how to get things done through formal channels and informal networks.\nDedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers; gains trust and respect.\nQualifications:\n10+ years of progressive experience in a Fortune 500 procurement environment.\nStrong analytical capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities, process optimization, analyze spending trends, and make data-driven decisions.\nExcellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong team player who can demonstrate ability to work in a cross functional environment.\nContinuous improvement mindset.\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.\nDemonstrated hands-on experience with procure-to-pay solutions such as SAP Ariba or comparable platforms, contingent workforce management solutions such as SAP Fieldglass or comparable platforms, and ERP solutions such as Oracle ERP or comparable platforms.\n\nExperience with contract lifecycle management solutions, such as Ironclad or comparable platforms, is preferred but not required.\n\nExperience managing system enhancements, integrations, user acceptance testing, change management, training, and post-implementation support in a complex enterprise environment.\n\nAbility to prioritize, organize, and multitask in a flexible, fast-paced, and challenging environment.\nMinimum 5 years of experience leading procurement operations, procure-to-pay processes, or procurement technology initiatives, including at least 3 years managing cross-functional projects, service delivery, or operational teams.\n\nDemonstrated delivery of at least two enterprise procurement system implementations, integrations, major enhancements, or process transformations involving requirements, testing, deployment, training, and stabilization.\n\nDemonstrated experience defining and reporting operational metrics, service-level agreements, control performance, and measurable process improvements for procurement transactions and system support.\n\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
