You will work on projects that leverage AI-driven tools and intelligent workflows to help transition procurement operations from transactional task execution to scalable, system-based processes that enable faster decision-making, stronger supplier management, and improved operational effectiveness.\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalyze current procurement and sourcing workflows to identify manual activities, process bottlenecks, and automation opportunities. \nAssist in designing and testing AI-enabled agents that support procurement operations, supplier interactions, and internal stakeholder requests. \nEvaluate procurement data and business processes to recommend workflow improvements that reduce administrative effort and improve efficiency. \nBuild dashboards, reports, and analytical models that help measure sourcing performance, process adoption, and operational outcomes. \nCollaborate with procurement, finance, supply chain, and technology teams to document requirements and support process transformation initiatives. \nPrepare presentations, project documentation, and recommendations for leadership on automation opportunities, pilot results, and continuous improvement efforts.\nWhat you'll need to succeed:\nRising senior or current master's student with a graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028, in Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field. \nCompletion of at least two 300- or 400-level courses in statistics, business analytics, operations management, finance, economics, industrial engineering, or supply chain management prior to the internship start date. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through coursework, research projects, campus leadership roles, or prior internships. \nExperience working with large datasets and using Excel or similar analytical tools to identify trends and develop insights.\nAbility to communicate technical and business concepts clearly through written reports, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration.\nWhat will set you apart:\nExposure to AI, automation, process improvement, business intelligence, or workflow optimization projects. \nExperience with data visualization, reporting tools, or statistical analysis through coursework or internships. \nInterest in procurement technology, sourcing strategy, operational excellence, or digital transformation initiatives.\nHow ADT invests in you:\nCulture of professional development & training, including access to LinkedIn Learning, collaborative team support, and exposure to meaningful, real-world projects \nFront-line experience and opportunities to learn directly from leaders through our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Speaker Series \nCommitment to equity and inclusion through ongoing initiatives, employee resource groups, and employee recognition programs \nVolunteer opportunities to give back and make a difference in the communities we serve\nCompensation & Internship Details\nCompensation: $24/hour for undergraduates, $28/hour for those enrolled in a graduate program.\nWork Schedule: A 40-hour workweek is expected, with interns on-site from Monday to Thursday in our Boca Raton Headquarters, and the option to work remotely on Fridays, depending on team schedules. \nU.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, as we do not offer sponsorship. \nMust be available for the entire duration of the internship program, from May 17-July 30, 2027. \nHousing allowance and relocation assistance are not offered for Internship roles.\nWhat Makes Someone Successful\nInterns who thrive in this program ask questions early, take ownership of their work, and look for opportunities to contribute beyond their assigned projects.
