The Residential Service Technician advises customers and the customer care center of the status of systems and processes inspections.\nLocate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring. \nReadjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation. \nRead blueprints, building and electrical plans in order to complete equipment repairs. \nPrepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs. \nCoordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.\nEducation/Certification\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nExperience:\nMinimum 2 years experience installing and inspecting/repairing ADT or comparable product line.\nSkills:\nExcellent communication skills.\nAble to read building electrical and sprinkler plans as required for clearing equipment trouble\nStanding, stooping, lifting ,climbing ,crawling\nValid driver's license required. \nPay and Benefits Disclosure\nThe pay range for this role is $20.00-$40.85 (plus commission, where necessary) per hour and is based on experience and qualifications. We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year.
