These applications are used bynetwork operators to manage their networks built upon Optical Transport devices.\nThe successful candidate willbe responsible fordesigning, developing, and continually improving our productsusingnew technologiesand best agile practices, and will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the product meets the needs of our customers.\nThe SoftwareEngineer will bethefirstengineer in the teamresponsible forfull-stackdevelopmentandthe onlyengineerresponsible forGUIdevelopment. Other teams withinthe organization already include engineers working on full-stack development.\nDutiesandResponsibilities\nThe primary responsibility will be developingfront-endand some back-end featuresfortheSDOController and MosaicNetwork Controller product\n\nDesign and implement new product features using React,Javaand Spring technologies\n\nDesign orassistindesignnewfeatures for theSDO controllerproduct\n\nDevelopanenhancementsforexisting software\n\nContribute to feasibility studies of needed software development\n\nDocument the design includingfeaturesdefinition and architecture\n\nParticipate in design reviews and code reviews\n\nDevelop unit and component-level tests forimplemented software modules and enhancements\n\nCoordinate development activities across teams while meeting project schedules\n\nFix software bugs found during all testing phases\n\nWork with the team to deploy and test incremental software releases\n\nBasicQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent educationrequired\n\nAt least 4 years ofprofessionalexperienceas aFront-endorFull-stackDeveloper\n\nA solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering\n\nAt least 2 years of experience developing React-based applications\n\nExperience with JavaScript/TypeScriptand Node.js\n\nExperience with Reacttest frameworks(Jestor similar)\n\nExperiencedeveloping UI components using Storybookand collaborating with UX designers usingFigma or equivalent tools\n\nProgramming skills in Java (good knowledgeofJava 8+, in project we use Java 25)\n\nKnowledge of softwareconstructiontechniques\n\nKnowledge of object-oriented design principles and design patterns\n\nKnowledge of Linux system\n\nExperiencewithJUnit\n\nExperience designing and consuming REST APIs.\n\nKnowledge of relational databases and SQL\n\nExperiencewith SpringFramework / Spring Boot\n\nExcellentteamworkabilities.\n\nWork experience with version control systems (Git).\n\nAt least B1 Englishproficiencylevel.\n\nPreferredQualifications\nExperience with developing and deploying large scale interactive React based applications\n\nExperience with testing tools such asJest,Cypress
