responsibilities\nDesign, develop, implement, and test embedded software\n\nPerform manual and automated verification of software functionality\n\nTest software to ensure compliance with technical specifications\n\nDocument implemented software solutions\n\nDebug and troubleshoot embedded system issues\n\nApply functional and object-oriented programming practices in Linux-based systems\n\nContinuously improve software quality, performance, and maintainability\n\nCollaborate with Customer Support to investigate and resolve field issues\n\nKnowledge, skills and experience required\nAcademic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field\n\nStrong Linux shell skills\n\nGood programming skills in Rust and/or C/C++\n\nExperience with software debugging tools and methods (e.g., GDB, code inspection, logging)\n\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environment\n\nExperience with Git version control\n\nExperience with Embedded Linux\n\nGood communication skills in German and English\n\nIndependent working style with a high level of personal responsibility and initiative\n\nNice-to-have skills and experience\nExperience with build systems, especially Yocto\n\nExperience in Linux kernel driver development\n\nExperience designing or developing real-time applications\n\nPractical knowledge of inter-process communication
