the Role\nWe are looking for a Proposal Engineer to support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for Process Analyzer Systems across the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical industries.\nThis role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys combining technical knowledge, costing and proposal development while working closely with Engineering, Sales, Project teams and customers.\nYou will play an important role in developing competitive solutions from tender stage through technical clarification and project handover.\n\nResponsibilities \nPrepare, draft and compile technical and commercial tender proposals ensuring customer specifications and compliance requirements are met.\nReview tender documents and coordinate inputs from Engineering, Sales, suppliers and other stakeholders for timely submissions.\nPrepare preliminary design and costing for Analyzer Systems, including Sample Handling Systems, analyzers, racks, cabinets and shelters, with support from the Engineering team.\nDevelop clear and competitive proposal content based on customer and project requirements.\nPrepare and respond to technical bid evaluations, clarifications and revised proposals.\nParticipate in customer technical clarification and project kick-off meetings when required.\nCoordinate with internal teams to ensure technical and commercial requirements are accurately captured.\nSupport the handover of awarded projects to the Project team with complete proposal and project documentation.\nCollaborate with regional and global proposal teams on international opportunities when required.\nRequired competencies and certifications\nDegree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.\nRelevant experience in Proposal Engineering, Technical Proposals, Pre-Sales, Tendering, Estimation or Project Coordination.\nExperience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Process Automation or Instrumentation industries would be advantageous.\nKnowledge of Process Analyzers, Analytical Instrumentation or Sample Handling Systems is an advantage.\nGood understanding of technical specifications, costing and tender requirements.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.\nProactive, organised and able to manage multiple proposal deadlines.\nStrong team player who can contribute
