This entry-level position provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers while developing technical expertise in civil and structural design for critical energy infrastructure projects.\nWhat You'll Do\nEngineering & Design Support\nAssist with the development of civil engineering designs for power generation, substation, transmission, renewable energy, and industrial projects. \nSupport preparation of site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, stormwater management designs, and erosion control plans. \nAssist with foundation design and civil calculations for equipment, structures, and facilities. \nPerform basic engineering calculations related to earthwork, drainage, hydrology, and site development. \nSupport development of construction drawings, specifications, and engineering reports. \nReview project requirements, client specifications, and applicable codes and standards. \nProject Support\nAssist senior engineers with project execution from conceptual design through construction support. \nSupport project planning activities, schedules, and engineering deliverables. \nParticipate in multidisciplinary coordination with structural, electrical, mechanical, process, and project teams. \nTrack assigned tasks and maintain project documentation. \nSupport engineering change management and document control processes. \nSite Development & Analysis\nAssist with site investigations, field data collection, and constructability reviews. \nSupport preparation of grading, paving, utility, and drainage designs. \nAssist with stormwater calculations and permitting documentation. \nReview geotechnical reports and incorporate findings into design activities. \nSupport development of earthwork estimates and material take-offs. \nConstruction Support\nAssist with responding to contractor requests for information (RFIs). \nReview shop drawings and contractor submittals under supervision. \nParticipate in field visits and construction observations as required. \nSupport resolution of construction-related technical issues. \nAssist with project closeout documentation and as-built drawing reviews. \nProfessional Development\nWork closely with senior engineers to develop technical and professional skills. \nParticipate in engineering training programs and professional development activities. \nPursue Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification if not already obtained. \nDevelop familiarity with industry codes, standards, and best practices\nWhat You'll Bring\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. \n0-2 years of civil engineering experience. \nInternship, co-op, or engineering experience in power, industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects preferred. \nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred or ability to obtain. \nAbility to travel periodically for site visits, field verification, and project activities. \nTechnical Skills\nBasic understanding of civil engineering principles and design practices. \nFamiliarity with site development, grading, drainage, and utility design concepts. \nKnowledge of engineering software such as: \nAutoCAD Civil 3D \nAutoCAD \nMicroStation (preferred) \nBluebeam \nMicrosoft Office Suite • Ability to perform engineering calculations and interpret technical documents. • Familiarity with applicable engineering codes and standards preferred. \nWhat You'll Get\nWhy Join Us?\nCompetitive Compensation \nWeekly Pay \n401(k) Retirement Plan \nHoliday Pay \nPaid Time Off (PTO) \nComprehensive Health Coverage \nPet Insurance \nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) \nProfessional Development Opportunities \nTuition Assistance \nEmployee Discount Program \nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
