This role is responsible for performing civil engineering design activities, developing construction-ready deliverables, and coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience in site development and civil design projects, a strong understanding of engineering principles, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with senior engineers and project stakeholders.\nWhat You'll Do\nEngineering & Design\nDevelop civil engineering designs for power generation, renewable energy, transmission, substation, and industrial infrastructure projects. \nPrepare site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, stormwater management plans, and erosion control designs. \nPerform engineering calculations related to earthwork, drainage, hydrology, stormwater management, and utility systems. \nAssist with foundation and site civil design for equipment, buildings, and support structures. \nDevelop construction drawings, technical specifications, engineering reports, and design documentation. \nInterpret project requirements, client specifications, and applicable engineering codes and standards. \nPrepare quantity take-offs and support project cost estimating efforts. \nProject Execution\nSupport civil engineering activities through all project phases, including conceptual design, detailed engineering, procurement support, and construction. \nCoordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, process, and project engineering teams to ensure integrated project delivery. \nManage assigned deliverables and support project schedules and milestones. \nParticipate in design reviews and interdisciplinary coordination meetings. \nSupport project managers with scope development, planning, and technical evaluations. \nSite Development & Analysis\nPerform site assessments and review survey, geotechnical, and environmental reports. \nDevelop grading, paving, drainage, utility, and stormwater management designs. \nPrepare hydrology and hydraulic calculations using industry-standard software. \nSupport permitting activities and preparation of regulatory documentation. \nEvaluate site constraints and recommend practical engineering solutions. \nConstruction Support\nReview contractor submittals, shop drawings, and requests for information (RFIs). \nProvide technical support during construction and commissioning activities. \nConduct site visits to verify field conditions and support construction issue resolution. \nAssist with punch list reviews, project closeout activities, and as-built documentation. \nCoordinate with contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders as required. \nProfessional Development\nContinue developing technical expertise in civil engineering design and EPC project execution. \nSupport mentoring and knowledge-sharing efforts with entry-level engineers and interns. \nParticipate in training and professional development opportunities. \nPursue Professional Engineer (PE) licensure if not already obtained. \nWhat You'll Bring\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. \n3-5 years of civil engineering experience in power generation, industrial, infrastructure, renewable energy, or EPC environments. \nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required or ability to obtain. \nProgress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred. \nAbility to travel periodically for site visits, field verification, and project activities. \nTechnical Skills\nExperience with civil site development, grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design. \nWorking knowledge of applicable civil engineering codes, standards, and permitting requirements. \nProficiency with: \nAutoCAD Civil 3D \nAutoCAD \nBluebeam \nMicrosoft Office Suite • Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulic modeling software preferred. • Ability to prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction documents. • Understanding of construction methods and civil engineering best practices. \nWhat You'll Get\nCompetitive Compensation \nWeekly Pay \n401(k) Retirement Plan \nHoliday Pay \nPaid Time Off (PTO) \nComprehensive Health Coverage \nPet Insurance \nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) \nProfessional Development Opportunities \nTuition Assistance \nEmployee Discount Program \nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
