This entry-level engineering role works under the guidance of senior engineers and contributes to the development of safe, reliable, and efficient process control systems within EPC project environments.\nThe ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of instrumentation and control systems, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to support multidisciplinary engineering teams in delivering high-quality project designs.\nWhat You'll Do\nAssist in the design and development of instrumentation and control systems for EPC projects.\nSupport preparation and revision of:Instrument index and I/O lists \nInstrument data sheets \nControl system architecture diagrams \nLoop diagrams and wiring diagrams \nP&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) markupsAssist in selection and specification of field instrumentation including: \nPressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments \nAnalytical and process monitoring devices \nControl valves and actuatorsSupport integration of instrumentation systems into overall plant control systems. \n\nControl Systems Support\nAssist in development of PLC, DCS, and SCADA system documentation.\nSupport input/output (I/O) mapping and control logic documentation.\nParticipate in control system configuration reviews under senior engineer direction.\nAssist with development of functional descriptions and control narratives.\nSupport coordination of automation and process control requirements.\nProject Execution Support\nSupport instrumentation engineering activities through conceptual design, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction phases.\nAssist in preparation of material take-offs (MTOs) and equipment lists.\nSupport review of vendor submittals and technical documentation.\nTrack assigned deliverables and support adherence to project schedules.\nAssist in preparation of construction and commissioning documentation.\nMultidisciplinary Coordination\nCoordinate instrumentation work with electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, and process engineering teams.\nParticipate in design review and coordination meetings.\nAssist in resolving interface issues between control systems and field instrumentation.\nSupport integration of instrumentation systems into overall facility design.\nConstruction & Commissioning Support\nAssist with field verification activities and site visits as required.\nSupport responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) under engineer guidance.\nAssist in loop checks, calibration support, and system testing activities.\nHelp update documentation based on field conditions and construction feedback.\nSupport commissioning and startup activities.\nQuality & Standards\nFollow company engineering standards, project specifications, and applicable codes.\nAssist in technical reviews and quality checks of instrumentation deliverables.\nMaintain accurate engineering documentation and revision control.\nSupport continuous improvement of instrumentation design practices and workflows.\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.\n0-2 years of experience in instrumentation, controls, or automation engineering.\nInternship or co-op experience in EPC, power generation, industrial, or manufacturing environments preferred.\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.\nTechnical Skills\nBasic understanding of:Instrumentation principles and process control systems \nPLC, DCS, and SCADA fundamentals \nIndustrial automation and control system architectureFamiliarity with: \nP&IDs and control system documentation \nInstrumentation data sheets and wiring diagrams \nEngineering design and revision processesProficiency with: \nAutoCAD \nMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Exposure to tools such as SmartPlant Instrumentation, Aveva, or similar is a plus. \n\nProfessional Skills\nStrong
