This position assists with invoice processing, purchase order tracking, vendor payment support, data entry, and job cost reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and interested in developing a career in accounting within the telecommunications and construction industry.\nThis role works closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Field Operations, Vendors, and the Accounting Department to ensure financial records are accurate and project costs are properly tracked.\nPay: $24-28/hr, DOE\nWhat You'll Do\nResponsibilities:\nEnter and process vendor invoices into the accounting system.\nMatch invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.\nAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.\nTrack project-related expenses and job costing information.\nReview invoices for accuracy and proper coding.\nMaintain vendor records and supporting documentation.\nAssist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.\nGenerate reports related to project costs, budgets, and expenditures.\nCommunicate with vendors regarding payment status and invoice discrepancies.\nSupport Construction Managers and Project Managers with financial and administrative requests.\nOrganize and maintain electronic and physical accounting records.\nAssist with payroll support and employee expense reporting, as needed.\nPerform additional administrative and accounting duties as assigned.\nWhat You'll Bring\nQualifications:\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. \nBasic understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles \nExcellent data entry skills \nProficient in MS Office suite \nHigh attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy \n1-2 years in construction accounting or related experience \nDegree in accounting or related field currently in progress \nWhat You'll Get\nWorking Conditions:\nThis job operates in both office and field environments with occasional exposure to noise and other hazards.
