This role assists in coordinating all phases of field construction, including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation & controls (I&C), and commissioning activities associated with utility-scale power plants.\nThe Project Coordinator plays a key role in daily site operations, helping ensure safe, quality-driven execution while supporting schedule, budget, and productivity goals across the project lifecycle.\nWhat You'll Do\nAssist in coordinating site construction activities across all power plant disciplines, including civil, structural steel, mechanical equipment, piping, electrical, and I&C systems.\nSupport the Site Manager in overseeing construction of major power generation assets such as gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs (Heat Recovery Steam Generators), balance-of-plant systems, cooling systems, and associated infrastructure.\nCoordinate subcontractors, craft labor, vendors, and field engineering teams to ensure work is executed safely and efficiently.\nHelp manage project schedules, work sequencing, and turnover milestones to support successful startup and commissioning activities.\nMonitor construction progress and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, environmental regulations, and safety standards.\nAssist in identifying and resolving field issues related to constructability, interfaces between disciplines, productivity, and schedule impacts.\nParticipate in site inspections, progress meetings, turnover walks, punch list development, and commissioning readiness reviews.\nSupport system completion, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and plant startup activities.\nMaintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, change management records, turnover packages, and as-built documentation.\nAssist with workforce planning, site logistics, material management, and equipment coordination.\nPromote a strong safety culture that aligns with Quanta Power Solutions' commitment to incident-free project execution.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat You'll Bring\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.\n5+ years of construction experience with at least 3+ years supporting utility-scale power generation, industrial construction, energy infrastructure, or EPC projects.\nExperience supporting construction of large industrial facilities with multiple disciplines and subcontractors.\nWorking knowledge of mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation systems commonly found in power generation facilities.\nFamiliarity with combined cycle power plants, gas turbine systems, steam turbine systems, HRSGs, balance-of-plant equipment, or related energy infrastructure projects preferred.\nExperience using project management and construction software such as Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar platforms.\nKnowledge of construction safety regulations, quality control processes, and commissioning practices.\nSkills\nStrong leadership potential with a desire to grow into greater construction management responsibilities.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced construction environment.\nEffective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, construction, commissioning, and client teams.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.\nDetail-oriented with a focus on quality, safety, and schedule performance.\nAbility to build productive working relationships with craft labor, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.\nTravel Requirements\nUp to 100% travel based on project assignment and business needs.\nWhat You'll Get\nCompetitive Compensation\n401(k) Retirement Plan\nPaid Time Off (PTO) & Holiday Pay\nComprehensive Health Coverage\nPet Insurance\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nProfessional Development Opportunities\nTuition Assistance\nEmployee Discount Program\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
