This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with established quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.\nWhat You'll Do\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Planning & Execution\nDevelop comprehensive project plans, including project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and resource requirements.\nIdentify and allocate labor, materials, equipment, and other resources necessary for successful project execution.\nCoordinate and manage project teams, including subcontractors, to ensure alignment with project goals and milestones.\nAssign responsibilities, establish clear expectations, and provide leadership to support efficient project delivery.\nMonitor project risks, address issues proactively, and adjust plans as necessary to minimize disruptions and maintain project progress.\nQuality Control & Project Performance\nImplement and enforce quality control processes to ensure projects meet established standards and project specifications.\nConduct regular inspections and collaborate with stakeholders to address quality-related concerns.\nMonitor construction activities and project performance to ensure work progresses according to schedule.\nFacilitate regular project status meetings to review progress, resolve challenges, and maintain alignment among project participants.\nEnsure project documentation is complete, accurate, and properly maintained throughout the project lifecycle.\nFinancial Management & Contract Administration\nManage project financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and risk management.\nReview and negotiate client contracts, including terms, conditions, schedules, and service requirements.\nMonitor the utilization of labor, materials, and equipment to optimize project efficiency and profitability.\nEvaluate and quantify cost and schedule impacts resulting from project design or construction changes.\nCommunicate project changes and associated impacts to stakeholders in a timely manner.\nClient Relations & Team Leadership\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other project stakeholders.\nAddress client concerns proactively and provide exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.\nFoster collaboration across project teams to support successful project outcomes.\nPromote and support the IME culture of safety in all project activities.\nIndustry Representation\nServe as a company ambassador by promoting organizational values and expertise within the electrical contracting industry.\nDemonstrate professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.\nAdditional duties as assigned. \nWhat You'll Bring\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong ability to perform due diligence and conduct comprehensive project risk assessments.\nKnowledge of building construction methods, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.\nStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.\nDemonstrated commitment to integrity, ethics, and professional conduct.\nAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.\nAbility and willingness to travel frequently to construction project sites.\nDemonstrated Accomplishments\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, BlueBeam, and Accubid.\nDemonstrated success managing projects through completion while achieving schedule, budget, and quality objectives.\nStrong understanding of electrical construction within large-scale commercial and industrial environments.\nExperience building and maintaining productive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers while remaining informed of market trends.\nThorough knowledge and application of safety standards within electrical construction.\nProven ability to manage project financial performance and support successful project outcomes.\nEducation & Experience\nMust have experience with industrial water/wastewater projects.\nExperience managing industrial and/or commercial electrical construction projects.\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, skills, and training.\nEquivalent combinations of relevant education, training, and applied experience will be considered.\nWhat You'll Get\nWorking Conditions:\nThe majority of the time you will work on construction job sites. When on construction job sites you will encounter typical construction conditions including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud debris, welding, leading edge, trenching, and shoring, sometimes in a confined space.
