The QISG team brings together Engineering, Safety, Quality, Material Procurement, QA/QC, Right-of-Way Acquisition, Scheduling, Environmental Planning, Permitting, Title and Land Management expertise that ensure outstanding results for our clients.\nAbout this Role\nGeneral DescriptionThe Power Delivery Construction Manager (PDCM) is responsible for driving the project’s safety, productivity, and quality in the field, minimizing risks, and completing the work in the best interests of QISG, our clients, and our co-workers. The PDCM reports to and supports the Project Manager with all facets of project planning, execution, controls, and closeout to maintain or improve the balance between scope, budget, time, and quality. Our PDCM supervises all field operations on assigned projects.\nWhat You'll Do\nDuties\nDirects and coordinates field construction\nAdministration of the prime contract and construction subcontracts and purchase orders\nMonitors progress of the overall design to maintain or improve the balance between scope, budget, time, and quality\nManages and drives subcontracts and purchase orders to maintain or improve the balance between scope, budget, time, and quality\nOriginates, reviews, and/or responds to Requests for Information (RFI) and Submittals for constructability; maintains and improves the balance between scope, budget, time, and quality\nHelps the Project Manager manage and control the project budget, schedule, and quality through effective change management\nManages and enforces the project’s QA/QC standards and coordinates QA/QC actions with subcontractors and suppliers\nManages and enforces the project’s Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and coordinates with subcontractors and suppliers to implement their own safety actions\nWorks with the Project Manager to prepare and update project schedules and status reports, pay requests, and daily, weekly, and monthly progress, budget, and schedule management reports\nHandles project setup and temporary facilities\nField document control\nCreates daily reports\nTakes progress photographs\nUnderstands the project schedule’s baseline and milestone dates; able to communicate this with stakeholders as needed\nOwns the project’s Short Interval Schedule (aka 3-4 week Look Ahead schedule) and updates it weekly with previous week’s production and the CM’s work plan over the next two weeks of activities, which may include additional safety, productivity, and quality details relevant to the actual needs of field management and trades.
