At our core, we are Advanced Energy - powering the future, together.\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nThe Director, EHS Digital Transformation is responsible for defining and leading the company’s global EHS digital strategy to enhance risk management, improve operational performance, strengthen decision-making, and accelerate the adoption of innovative technologies across the enterprise.\nReporting to the VP, Global EHS and Sustainability and serving as a member of the EHS Leadership Team, this role provides strategic leadership for EHS digital platforms, data analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence (AI), connected worker technologies, and emerging digital solutions.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop and execute the company’s global EHS Digital Transformation strategy, roadmap, and governance framework.\nLead the selection, implementation, deployment, and optimization of global EHS digital platforms and technology solutions.\nEstablish a data-driven EHS operating model that enables proactive risk management, performance visibility, and fact-based decision-making.\nDevelop and oversee EHS data analytics, dashboards, KPIs, and business intelligence tools to provide real-time insights into performance, trends, and emerging risks.\nPartner with business leaders to analyze global EHS performance data, identify systemic issues, and develop enterprise-wide improvement programs.\nLead the development of predictive and advanced analytics capabilities to strengthen risk anticipation, incident prevention, and resource prioritization.\nDrive standardization, quality, governance, and integration of EHS data across global operations.\nLeverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, automation, and digital technologies to improve EHS processes, risk management, and organizational effectiveness.\nLead the evaluation and deployment of innovative workplace safety technologies, including virtual reality, connected worker solutions, smart PPE, wearables, computer vision, sensor-based monitoring, and other emerging technologies.\nPartner with Operations and Engineering teams to implement digital solutions that reduce exposure to critical risks and improve workplace safety outcomes.\nCollaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, and Data teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable digital solutions.\nEstablish technology standards, digital governance processes, and implementation methodologies to ensure successful adoption and sustained value realization.\nMonitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, identifying opportunities to enhance EHS performance through digital innovation.\nDevelop digital capability across the EHS organization through training, coaching, and change management initiatives.\nLead strategic digital transformation projects and manage relationships with external technology providers and implementation partners.\nBuild, develop and lead a high-performing team focused on analytics, digital innovation, and continuous improvement.\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nLocation: Singapore (main) or any major AEI’s location\nEnvironment: Works in a standard office environment using general office equipment.\nRegular international travel to support system implementations, site engagement, technology deployment, and business initiatives.\nSKILLS\nDeep knowledge of digital transformation, data analytics, and technology enablement within EHS, operations, or manufacturing environments.\nStrong understanding of EHS management systems, risk management processes, and performance measurement frameworks.\nExperience implementing enterprise EHS software platforms, business intelligence tools, and analytics solutions.\nKnowledge of AI, machine learning, automation, connected worker technologies, IoT, smart PPE, and emerging workplace safety technologies.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights.\nExperience with data visualization and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools.\nProven ability to lead large-scale transformation programs and organizational change initiatives.\nStrong stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.\nAbility to influence across global, cross-functional, and matrixed organizations.\nStrategic mindset with a strong focus on innovation, business value creation, and operational excellence.\nEXPERIENCE\n10+ years of experience in EHS, Digital Transformation, Data Analytics, Operations Excellence, or related fields within a global or multinational organization.\nMinimum 5 years of leadership experience managing enterprise-wide digital transformation, analytics, or technology-enabled business improvement initiatives.\nProven experience implementing global digital platforms and data-driven performance management systems.\nExperience within manufacturing, industrial, technology, electronics, semiconductor, logistics, or similarly complex operational environments preferred.\nDemonstrated success leveraging technology and analytics to improve safety, operational performance, and risk management outcomes.\nEDUCATION\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, EHS, or a related discipline required.\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Digital Transformation, or related field
