Responsible for employee safety awareness and training, industrial hygiene testing, needs assessment for EHS regulatory compliance, hazardous waste management. Interfaces directly with business unit managers and leaders, and executive staff on Environmental Health and Safety issues. Tracks, reports, and is accountable for employee EHS related programs and incidents. The AE company expert in Environmental Health and Safety issues. Responsible for the company wide creation and management of AE company EHS strategic plans, policies, and implementation of these programs.\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :\nCoordinates compliance with state, and local EHS regulations.\nInterface with local government authority agencies in licensing/permitting, audits and inspections to ensure successful outcomes and regulatory compliance recommendations to site management to prioritize key focus areas for continuous improvement in EHS programs and regulatory compliance.\nDevelope and maintain key EHS programs & documentations, e.g, Legal Registers, EHS procedure/checklist/forms, exposure assessment results, Chemical Registers & Chemical Safety Data Sheets, Regulated Equipment listing, and other legal compliance documents.\nPartner with site operation team to achieve EHS goals/performance.\nFacilitates, participates and leads the Safety Committee Meetings.\nImplement programs & initiatives to meet expectations and standards per ISO14001 EMS, local regulations, Advanced Energy policy/guidelines.\nUse of systematic risk assessment and relevant analytical assessment for troubleshooting, incident investigation, root cause/corrective action identification, ensure data driven decision making.\nProvide assistance to site operation team in incident and injury investigation to prevent re-occurrence of incident/injury.\nDevelops, implements, and coordinates all safety and environmental training, including but not limited to Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout, Electrical Safety, Ergonomics, and other training required by Malaysia EHS regulatory comformance.\nPerforms ergonomic audits and recommends ergonomic equipment to prevent and reduce injuries.\nCoordinates and implements the emergency response team & emergency response plan.\nAdhere to organizational requirements on quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies and general duty of care.\nMaintain confidentiality of all information related to the production processes and components, business and other technology including materials.\nOther duties as assigned.\nSKILLS :\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nGood organizational skills.\nKnowledge of OSHA and EQA regulations, ISO14001 & ISO45001 management system requirements.\nExcellent MS Office skills.\nSkilled professionalism, responsiveness, dedication to the program success, and relationship building.\nQUALIFICATIONS :\nRegistered Safety & Health officer\nLead auditor or internal auditor of ISO14001 &/or ISO45001 management system\nDOSH or DOE competent person (e-SWISS, ergonomic assessor) may have advantages\nEXPERIENCE :\nEssential :\nMinimum 3+ years experience in related fields such as Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Environment.
