Implement improvements that maximize productivity, reduce wastefulness, and ensure high quality results.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nOperational Workflow: Analyzes and improves operational workflows with access to confidential productivity, cost, and manpower data.\nTeam Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Industrial Technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to maximize performance and achieve organizational goals.\nLayout Optimization: Analyze and propose production layout strategies that optimize resource utilization, minimize waste, and ensure efficient workflow.\nCapacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning and analysis to determine the ideal resource allocation, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining optimal efficiency levels.\nProcess Improvement: Perform time-study analysis to identify bottlenecks and develop strategies for process improvement and production optimization.\n Project Management: Support Capital Expenditure (CapEx) projects, including budgeting, planning, and implementation, to enhance manufacturing processes and capabilities.\n Performance Evaluation: Develop and maintain OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) calculations and analysis to evaluate and improve equipment performance, availability, and quality levels.\nContinuous Improvement: Participate and may lead initiatives for productivity improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing appropriate strategies and processes.\nWorkstation Optimization: Conduct man-machine calculations and analysis to optimize workstations, labor allocation, and production processes.\n5S Implementation: Apply 5S principles to create an organized and efficient work environment.\nTakt Time Analysis: Conduct takt time analysis and calculations to enhance production planning, ensuring optimal resource allocation and meeting customer demand.\n KPI Management: Support key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop action plans accordingly.\nLayout Design: Lead Layout design to meet and align to lean strategies and Best-in-Class approach.\nAdhere to organizational requirements on quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies and general duty of care.\nMaintain confidentiality of all information related to the production processes and components, business and other technology including materials.\nOther duties assigned.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT :\nLocation: Penang Science Park, Simpang Ampat.\nWorks in a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing lab environment. \nAlso works in a standard office environment and uses general office equipment (telephone, PC, copier, fax machine, etc.).\nWorks under limited supervision.\nOvertime may be necessary in times of increased demand.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nStrong analytical skills to evaluate and interpret data.\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\nStrong leadership skills in implementing productivity changes.\nCritical thinking and problem-solving skills.
