Plans and projects financial information using knowledge of advanced financial theory and systems. Prepares recommendations to all levels of management. Acts as a mentor to the financial analysts/cost accountants.\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\nDevelops, maintains, and provides insightful financial information to support central finance and senior management.\nAssists the Finance Manager in preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly financial foreasts.\nProvides financial analysis to support monthly operational reviews with line organizations.\nProvides a guiding role for the department’s financial analysts/cost accountants in developing and maintaining PC-based analytical tools.\nDevelops successful working relationships with other AE departments, including but not limited to Operations and General Accounting\nConducts special projects which provide creative and insightful interpretation of business issues from a quantitative standpoint.\nConducts regular presentations to management.\nActs as a contact for both internal and external audit.\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nWorks in a standard office environment utilizing standard office equipment. Some travel may be required.\nSKILLS:\nAbility to work with all functional organizations and all levels of personnel.\nAbility to tailor financial information for various levels of the organization.\nPrior experience with a Financial software package, preferably an integrated ERP system.\nExcellent PC skills including advanced proficiency in MS-Office, primarily Excel and Access.
