You will be the system owner for buildings system, gas system, DI water system and elevator system as well on top of the key core responsibility on electrical system. You will lead a team of technicians and contractors in troubleshooting and drive improvement to related system and ensure zero unplanned interruption to production.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nStrategic Planning & Leadership\nDevelop strategic long term maintenance plan for entire electrical, building, gas, DI water and elevator system in the factory then implement the plan with evidence record keeping.\nDrives continuous improvement and avoidance of unplanned downtime for facilities equipment.\nDevelop capacity monitoring for facilities system and planned for added capacity whenever it is required.\nDevelop an effective checklist for the facilities system that will be used for shift technicians for monitoring the health status of facilities equipment.\nBudget planning for operation, maintenance and improvement project related to facilities system.\nKeep drawing updated whenever there are changes to the utilities line or facilities system.\nManage Janitorial teams and work with janitorial team to have effective cleaning programs for the Plant.\nAct as a technical mentor for the shift technician and operation team, work with technician on troubleshooting and solve technical problems encountered.\nOther duties as assigned.\nGovernance, Compliance & Risk Management\nMaintain all the related licenses to be updated as per legal requirement for all facilities equipment.\nOwns audit readiness and compliance documentation.\nProject Leadership & Stakeholder Management\nLeads complex engineering projects from concept to execution.\nManages multidisciplinary project teams and external vendors.\nPartners with cross-functional teams (e.g. IE, Production etc) on capacity planning and expansion projects.\nTechnical Expertise & Innovation\nServe as subject matter expert for the related facilities system.\nOptimizes system performance and reliability through data analytics and engineering analysis.\nOperational Excellence & System Optimization\nDevelop engineering performance KPIs and monitors adherence.\nLeads root-cause analysis for major system failures and drives permanent solutions.\nFinancial Management\nPrepares and manages engineering budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans for related facilities system.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nLocation: Penang Science Park, Simpang Ampat.\nWorks in standard office environment and uses general office equipment (phone, PC copier, fax machine etc.)\nWorks in a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing lab environment. \nOvertime may be necessary in times of increased demand.\nWorks under limited supervision.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nExcellent communication skills both oral and written.\nGood troubleshooting skills and preventive maintenance skills\nEXPERIENCE:\nEssential:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering with 10 years experiences in semiconductor industry facilities management or \nDiploma in engineering with 15 years experience in semiconductor industry facilities management.\nEDUCATION:\nEssential:\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering\nBENEFITS:\nAs part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce.\nOur compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices including market-based base pay, an annual pay-for-performance incentive plan, and etc.\nIn addition to our competitive compensation practices, we offer a strong benefits package in each of the countries in which we operate.
