Working closely with Engineering Team Leads, Electrical, Firmware, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineers, you will coordinate project activities, engineering documentation, prototype logistics, purchasing activities, and office operations. This role serves as a key organizational resource to help ensure projects remain on schedule while supporting engineering teams with planning, communication, shipping, receiving, and administrative activities.\nResponsibilities\nProject and Engineering Coordination\nSupport engineering projects by maintaining schedules, action item lists, and project documentation.\nSupport project meetings, design reviews, and status updates.\nTrack engineering deliverables, milestones, and due dates.\nAssist Engineering Team Leads with project planning and resource coordination activities.\nFollow up on open action items and communicate status updates to stakeholders.\nSupport engineering change implementation and documentation activities.\nAssist with maintaining engineering records, specifications, reports, and controlled documents.\nMaintain project trackers and dashboards using Microsoft Office tools and other business systems.\nLaboratory and Prototype Support\nCoordinate prototype builds and engineering sample requests.\nAssist with procurement and tracking of engineering materials, components, and supplies.\nCoordinate shipment and receipt of customer samples, prototypes, and engineering hardware.\nMaintain inventory of engineering materials, laboratory equipment, prototypes, and consumable supplies.\nSupport calibration scheduling and tracking activities.\nOffice and Administrative Support\nCoordinate visitor access, meetings, travel arrangements, and team events as needed.\nPrepare presentations, reports, and meeting materials.\nGenerate purchase requisitions, track engineering orders, and coordinate with purchasing and suppliers to support project schedules.\nOrganize engineering files and maintain department documentation.\nAssist with onboarding activities for new team members.\nCross-Functional Communication\nInterface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Operations teams.\nCommunicate project status, shipment updates, and logistics information.\nSupport customer and supplier correspondence as directed by the engineering team.\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve engineering workflows, documentation processes, and departmental efficiency.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and develop knowledge of engineering, project management, and product development processes.\nQualifications\nAssociate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Engineering Technology, Project Coordination, or related field.\n1-3 years of experience in engineering coordination, project coordination, manufacturing support, or administrative support roles.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams.\nPreferred\nExperience supporting engineering or product development teams.\nExperience in manufacturing, electronics, medical device, or regulated industries.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems such as SAP.\nExperience with project tracking tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.\nExperience coordinating shipments, receiving activities, and inventory management.\nFamiliarity with engineering change processes and document control systems.\nExperience supporting ISO 13485 or regulated product-development environments.\nAs part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees in order to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce.
