We are proud of our rich heritage, award-winning technologies, and we value the talents and contributions of all Advanced Energy's employees worldwide.\nPosition Summary\nWill lead a team of electrical and mechanical design engineers engaged in design of Switching Power Supply\nResponsibilities:\nEnsure that the team meets over-all design goals.\nResearch, develop and execute design plans.\nLiaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure high quality and cost effectiveness of design products.\nLead electrical and mechanical engineers while coordinating with key contributors within the company and local engineering university. \nInteract across all business as solutions are required in multiple industries.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering.\nAt least 10 years’ experience in power supply industry. \nExperience in leading a group of design engineers.\nSolid technical background in power supply design and an understanding of component characteristics as miniaturization will be a key part of the development.\nStrong organizational, communication and leadership skills required to deliver results.\nTeam player and willing to take risk and able to deliver under pressure\nDemonstrates pro-activeness, resourcefulness and highly motivated.\nAbility to perform electrical circuit design & analysis and FA analysis.\nGood knowledge of Switching Power Topologies and ability to design high performance power supplies will be an advantage.\nAs part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees in order to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce.
