This role is responsible for transforming customer quality, field reliability, manufacturing, and corrective action data into actionable insights that improve customer satisfaction, product quality, and operational performance.\nThe Senior Data Analyst partners closely with Customer Quality, Product Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to identify trends, support root cause investigations, quantify business impact, and provide executive-level reporting that enables data-driven decision making.\nResponsibilities:\nQuality & Reliability Analytics\nAnalyze customer complaints, RMAs, failure analysis reports, and reliability data to identify trends, recurring issues, and emerging risks. \nMonitor and report key quality and reliability metrics including PPM, DTF, warranty performance, field returns, and failure modes. \nSupport root cause investigations by providing analytical insights and trend analysis. \nData Management & Reporting\nConsolidate and analyze data from quality systems, manufacturing databases, corrective action systems, and enterprise business tools. \nDevelop automated dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reports for leadership and cross-functional teams. \nPrepare monthly and quarterly business reviews highlighting customer, product, supplier, and reliability performance. \nCustomer & Financial Impact Analysis\nAnalyze quality performance by customer, product family, supplier, manufacturing site, and business unit. \nQuantify financial impact associated with quality issues, including warranty, replacement, scrap, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ). \nSupport customer reviews with meaningful quality and reliability metrics. \nContinuous Improvement Support\nSupport 8D, CAR, CAPA, and RCCA activities through fact-based analysis and performance tracking. \nEvaluate corrective-action effectiveness and identify systemic opportunities for improvement. \nDrive standardization of quality metrics, reporting methodologies, and data governance practices across business units. \nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Reliability, and Operations teams. \nPresent analytical findings and recommendations to management and executive leadership. \nSupport strategic quality and operational improvement initiatives through data-driven insight\n\nExperience & Skills:\nMinimum 7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, customer quality, product quality, reliability engineering, or manufacturing analytics. \nDemonstrated experience analyzing large datasets from multiple enterprise systems. \nExperience supporting executive-level reporting and business reviews. \nStrong understanding of manufacturing, product quality, and reliability environments. \nAdvanced proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel for data extraction, analysis, and reporting. \nStrong experience developing dashboards and executive presentations using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. \nWorking knowledge of quality systems and methodologies including: \n8D\nRCA\nCAR\nCAPA\nFailure Analysis\nStrong understanding of quality and reliability metrics including: \nPPM / DPPM\nDTF\nYield\nWarranty Performance\nCOPQ\nExperience applying statistical methods to identify trends, risks, and root causes\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. \nAs part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees in order to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce.
