We are proud of our rich heritage, award-winning technologies, and we value the talents and contributions of all Advanced Energy's employees worldwide.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, qualify and develop Switch Mode Power Supplies\n⁻ Participate in design conceptualization, schematic generation, mechanical packaging and PCB layout of project assigned\n⁻ Conduct circuit breadboarding/fine tuning, power-up, test and verify specs compliance\n⁻ Perform Design Verification Test (DVT) to the project assigned and all necessary circuit simulation and tolerance analysis on project assigned\n⁻ Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) with emphasis on component cost and quality.\n⁻ Perform Failure Analysis on switch mode power supplies\nEnsure that parts in the BOM are qualified, preferred parts and multiple source\n⁻ Create accurate, error-free test reports and controlled documents\n⁻ Project Planning and organization\n⁻ Help coordinate with the support group on project deliverables\n⁻ Participate on project meetings and design reviews\n⁻ Collaboration with the support group\nProvide engineering support to safety , QA and customers\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering\n8+ years relevant work experience in the following:\n- Switch Mode Power Supply Design;\n- Using Simulations Tools in product development;\n- Research & Development\nKnowledgeable in Circuit operation and failure analysis\nVery good communication skills\nTeam player\nAs part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees in order to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce.
