At our core, we are Advanced Energy - powering the future, together.\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nWe are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to manage international freight operations, negotiate transportation costs, coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines, and provide logistics analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms), import/export logistics processes, and advanced Excel and analytical skills to support cost control and operational efficiency.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nHandle freight inquiries and obtain competitive quotations from freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and transport providers.\nCompare freight quotations and recommend the best transportation options based on cost, transit time, and service level.\nNegotiate freight rates, surcharges, service agreements, and transportation contracts to achieve cost savings.\nCoordinate international shipments (air, sea, and land) and ensure timely delivery.\nMonitor shipment status and resolve transportation issues, delays, and exceptions.\nEnsure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, and company logistics procedures.\nApply and manage international trade terms (Incoterms 2020) in daily logistics operations.\nPrepare and analyze logistics reports, including freight cost analysis, transportation KPIs, on-time delivery, and logistics performance.\nMaintain accurate logistics records, shipment data, and cost databases.\nWork closely with procurement, warehouse, production, sales, and finance teams to support supply chain operations.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement, freight optimization, and cost reduction.\nIssue PR for Freight billing and monitoring freight spending\nSupport logistics budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis projects.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.\nMinimum 10 years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.\nProven experience in evaluating, selecting, and managing freight forwarders \nStrong knowledge of international freight markets, shipping routes, transit times, carrier networks, and logistics service providers.\nDemonstrated ability to conduct freight inquiries (RFQ/RFP), analyze quotations, compare service offerings, and negotiate competitive freight rates and contract terms.\nExperience in freight cost benchmarking, transportation cost analysis, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.\nAbility to evaluate freight forwarders based on key performance indicators (KPIs), including: On-time delivery performance, Transit time reliability, Customs clearance efficiency, Freight cost competitiveness\nCargo claims and damage ratio\nFinancial stability and operational capability\nStrong understanding of Incoterms® 2020, international shipping documentation, customs regulations, and import/export processes.\nExperience coordinating with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, and overseas agents.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, dashboards, and data analysis.\nStrong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to prepare logistics performance reports, freight cost analyses, and management presentations.\nExcellent negotiation, supplier management, and vendor relationship management skills.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills in English;
