Responsible for ensuring the proper operation of electrical systems, controls, robotics, automation, and instrumentation equipment, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives within these areas.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and manage machinery, equipment, and automated systems involved in production processes.\nImprove operational efficiency, quality, and costs through the implementation of automation projects.\nDevelop and maintain preventive maintenance routines for control, instrumentation, and automation equipment.\nIntegrate software and hardware solutions to support process automation.\nCollaborate with cross-functional departments on the implementation of new projects.\nDevelop user, installation, and maintenance manuals for automation equipment.\nTrain personnel on control systems, instrumentation, and automation processes as required.\nSupport and promote the execution of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.\nParticipate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to equipment failures.\nEffectively manage all company equipment and tools related to control and automation systems.\nParticipate in continuous improvement projects involving preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.\nDesign tooling, devices, and systems to improve productivity.\nDesign tooling, devices, and error-proofing systems (Poka-Yoke).\nEstablish and maintain spare parts inventories for critical equipment.\nProvide technical support in troubleshooting control, instrumentation, and automation issues.\nVerify equipment compliance with specifications and oversee machine setup and adjustments.\nAnalyze production schedules to coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.\nInterpret and apply equipment specifications, procedures, and departmental standards.\nEstablish and adjust work processes to meet production and customer requirements in accordance with production schedules and workflow demands.\nContinuously improve departmental operations through Lean Manufacturing practices.\nMeasure, track, and effectively report departmental performance and activities.\nDevelop, update, and maintain departmental work instructions.\nAnalyze and resolve operational issues and address personnel-related conflicts within the department.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.\nCoordinate with supervisors and team leaders to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.\nPerform duties in compliance with company policies and procedures.\nRecommend improvements to working conditions to prevent accidents and enhance workplace safety.\nEnsure personnel comply with company policies and all applicable safety regulations.\nProvide employees with the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required for their tasks.\nEnsure proper use of PPE by all employees under supervision.\nSupervise, delegate, and evaluate subordinate personnel effectively.\nMaintain clean and organized work areas.\nPerform other duties and special projects assigned by the Maintenance Manager.\nWork Environment\nManufacturing environment with exposure to production equipment, automation systems, robotics, electrical systems, and maintenance activities.
