This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, manufacturing operations, and technical development teams to ensure business requirements are effectively translated into scalable technology solutions.\nThe Business Applications Manager will own the business roadmap for MES, drive process standardization across manufacturing sites, and lead global rollout initiatives. In addition, this role provides direct leadership to a team of 1 or more Business Analysts, ensuring delivery excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous professional development of team members.\nThis position plays a critical role in enabling manufacturing efficiency, digital transformation, and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with IT governance, SOX controls, and change management processes.\nResponsibilities\n1. Business Analysis Leadership & Manufacturing Systems Support\nServe as the primary business analysis lead for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and TPM platform.\nPartner with manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to understand business challenges and identify process improvement opportunities.\nLead requirements gathering, business process mapping, and solution design activities.\nFacilitate workshops and discussions to define business needs and prioritize enhancement requests.\nTranslate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.\nAct as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams throughout the project lifecycle.\nEnsure delivered solutions align with business objectives and operational requirements.\nSupport application enhancements, upgrades, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.\n2. MES Standardization, Process Improvement & Global Rollout\nDrive standardization of manufacturing business processes and MES solutions across global sites.\nLead business readiness assessments for new site implementations and acquisitions.\nAnalyze current-state and future-state business processes to identify efficiency gains and automation opportunities.\nDevelop implementation plans, rollout strategies, training materials, and support models for global deployments.\nPartner with IT and site leadership to ensure successful execution of rollout activities with minimal operational disruption.\nTrack deployment success metrics and continuously improve implementation methodologies.\nEnsure lessons learned and best practices are incorporated into future deployments.\n3. Team Leadership & People Management\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts supporting manufacturing applications and initiatives.\nAssign work priorities, manage workloads, and ensure timely delivery of analysis activities and project milestones.\nConduct performance reviews, development planning, coaching, and career growth discussions.\nEstablish business analysis standards, templates, methodologies, and best practices.\nFoster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.\nSupport recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning activities for the Business Analysis team.\nPromote knowledge sharing and cross-training within the team.\n4.
