At our core, we are Advanced Energy - powering the future, together.\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nThe Operations Technical Training Supervisor supports the delivery and continuous improvement of technical training programs, ensuring workforce competency, compliance, and operational excellence across Global Operations. This role oversees training execution to support business and manufacturing goals.\nThis position will report to Operations Technical Training Manager.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nExecute technical training programs aligned with business priorities, operational goals, and the annual training roadmap.\nDeliver competency-based training on manufacturing processes, including assembly, testing, troubleshooting, automation, and maintenance.\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance training materials, SOPs, work instructions, and certification requirements.\nSupport employee onboarding, qualification, certification, and competency assessments to ensure workforce readiness.\nManage skills matrices, training records, and certification databases to accurately track employee competencies and qualifications.\nEnsure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, customer, and industry standards while supporting audit readiness and documentation requirements.\nCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, HR, and EHS teams to identify skill gaps and implement targeted training solutions.\nLead continuous learning and improvement initiatives by monitoring training effectiveness, coaching trainers, and driving workforce capability, productivity, and performance.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in technical training, manufacturing engineering, operations, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, including SMT, PCBA, testing, assembly, and troubleshooting.\nExperience in delivering technical training programs, on-the-job training (OJT), competency development, and certification initiatives.\nFamiliarity with quality management systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, IPC, EHS, and related standards).\nProficient in problem-solving, statistical analysis, lean manufacturing principles, risk assessment, and training performance evaluation.\nStrong communication, facilitation, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.\nProactive and detail-oriented professional with a continuous improvement mindset and experience maintaining training records, skills matrices, and compliance documentation.","description_format":"text","description_chars":4062,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Continuous learning"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Biotechnology","Hardware","Power Grid","Semiconductor Equipment"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-29T19:10:42Z"}],"liveness":{"score":99,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.993,"p_room":1,"age_days":1,"expected_fill_days":14,"reasons":["conf:4","wave","velocity","win:early","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-01T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/advanced-energy-operations-technical-training-supervisor","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/advanced-energy-operations-technical-training-supervisor.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-02T01:56:59Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":2514,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":2486,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-03T00:00:00Z"}}}
