He or she receives instructions on daily work and new assignments. Duties and tasks are standardized but what is performed will vary day to day.\nESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES \nTroubleshoots failed RMA units to root cause.\nPerforms mechanical repair and assembly operations on RMA units.\nFully tests units after repair to determine that it meets AE specifications.\nDetermines and implements any additional non-break services that may be required during the repair process.\nUses test procedures, drawings, schematics and verbal/written instructions to test, repair, and troubleshoot units.\nAccurately and completely documents repair activities and test results.\nParticipates in creation of repair quotes.\nProvides failure analysis data to the Quality department.\nMaintains fixturing, performs calibration, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.\nPerforms the setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.\nWorks on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where the ability to recognize nonconformities is required.\nConsiders the impact of quality on the customers when making decisions.\nCommunicates openly and effectively with all colleagues in a professional manner.\nUnderstands and follows all safety requirements.\nUnderstands and follows all ISO practices and procedures.\nMay act as a technical interface with other departments.\nModels professional and positive work ethics.\nLight travel may be required from time to time, domestic or international, to assist in training or with customer issues.\nWorks effectively in a team environment.\nOther duties as assigned.\nESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nStanding: approximately 50% of time\nWalking: approximately 10% of time \nSitting: approximately 40% of time \nCarrying: 30 Kg max\nPushing: 50 Kg\nPulling: 50 Kg\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWorks in a manufacturing environment which may be noisy and fast-paced. \nMany tasks are repetitive in motion and include the use of electronic assembly equipment. \nOvertime (OT) may be required in times of increased production.\nMust be willing to work 12-hour alternating shifts which include weekends and may rotate between day and night shift (6am-6pm, 6pm-6am), and three shifts schedule (7 am -
