We are proud of our rich heritage, award-winning technologies, and we value the talents and contributions of all Advanced Energy's employees worldwide.\nResponsibilities\nReview factory schedules and Build Plan to ensure the demand and materials are driving correctly in the ERP system.\nAttend all critical Core Team Meetings prepared to discuss all materials and documentation issues.\nControl the purchase of unique and/or EC-controlled materials to support build plan of early prototypes, pilot runs and production ramp up until materials are stable in the design\nProcess of the initial Bill of Material in the ERP system. \nWork with Design Team regarding timely BOM update, ECO implementation & communication to Planning & MSR before or during the build\nRaise SRF for outgoing factory / customer shipments coming from Eastwood Engineering\nRespond weekly to Factory Commodity team with regards to go/no go of build of EC-controlled Commodity assembly to prevent scrappage\nProvide timely response to Planning's BOM exposure report to ensure that cost/scrappage are accounted for.\nQualifications\nGraduate of BS Engineering course or equivalent \nAt least 3+ years related experience in Materials Engineering \nAdvanced MS Office skills > Word, Excel, PowerPoint\nGood written and communications skills \nFamiliarity with Oracle MRP System\nHas initiative to solve problem and make decision in the most effective way.\nSelf-motivated with good prioritization & organizational skills\nAs part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees in order to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce.
