At our core, we are Advanced Energy - powering the future, together.\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nJoin our team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and help bring advanced power supply solutions to life. You'll design and develop mechanical systems that balance performance, reliability, and cost, working with components such as enclosures, heatsinks, cable assemblies, and molded parts. Leveraging thermal, acoustic, and vibration simulations, as well as 3D board layouts and hands-on prototype testing, you'll help transform concepts into robust products that meet customer needs and industry standards.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nDesign and develop efficient and cost-effective power supplies per customer and regulatory specifications (i.e., sheet metal enclosures, stamped and extruded heatsinks, cable assemblies, etc.) including thermal design and simulation, 3D board layout and prototype testing\nWork in a team environment with hardware engineers, electrical engineers, firmware engineers, and program managers on product development of extensive scope \nUtilize effective communication and team skills. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
