This role serves as the key coordinator between Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, and Operations teams to balance supply and demand while ensuring customer commitments are achieved.\nThe position requires strong analytical skills, system knowledge, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve capacity, material, and scheduling constraints to support business growth and operational excellence. Adapted from internal MPS role responsibilities.\nResponsibilities:\nMaster Production Scheduling\nDevelop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) across assigned sites and product lines.\nConvert demand forecasts and customer requirements into executable production plans.\nEnsure production plans are aligned with factory capacity, labor availability, material readiness, and business priorities.\nMonitor schedule adherence and drive corrective actions to close gaps.\nCapacity & Production Control\nAnalyze capacity utilization and identify bottlenecks.\nSupport capacity planning and scenario analysis for demand fluctuations.\nCoordinate production priorities to maximize output and customer service.\nDrive recovery plans for capacity or production shortfalls.\nInventory & Material Readiness\nMonitor inventory levels across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.\nReview CTB (Clear-to-Build) status and identify material risks impacting production schedules.\nWork closely with Material Planning and Procurement teams to resolve supply constraints.\nSupport inventory optimization initiatives while maintaining customer service targets.\nS&OP / IBP Support\nParticipate in monthly S&OP and IBP processes.\nProvide production and capacity insights to support demand-supply balancing.\nPerform what-if analysis and recommend mitigation actions for demand or supply changes.\nPerformance Management\nEstablish and track key planning and scheduling KPIs.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning processes, inventory optimization, and service performance.\nLead root cause analysis for demand-supply mismatches, delivery misses, and inventory deviations.\nImplement best practices in production planning and control.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nCoordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics, and Engineering teams.\nCommunicate production risks, capacity constraints, and recovery plans to stakeholders.\nSupport customer escalation management and critical business commitments.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.\nMaster's Degree is an advantage.\n5-8 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, Master Scheduling, Manufacturing Operations, or Supply Chain Planning.\nExperience working within high-mix, high-volume manufacturing environments.\nStrong understanding of:\nMPS\nMRP\nCapacity Planning\nInventory Management\nS&OP / IBP processes\n\nTechnical Skills\nSAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP IBP, Oracle, Kinaxis, OMP, or equivalent ERP/planning systems.\nAdvanced Excel and data analytics skills.\nPower BI or equivalent visualization tools.\nStrong data interpretation and problem-solving capability.\nPreferred Certifications\nAPICS/ASCM CPIM\nAPICS/ASCM CSCP\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt or above\nKey Competencies\nProduction Planning & Scheduling\nCapacity Planning\nSupply Chain Analytics\nInventory Optimization\nProblem Solving\nStakeholder Management\nCommunication & Influencing\nDecision Making\nContinuous Improvement\nBusiness Acumen\nCapacity Utilization\nForecast-to-Production Alignment\nAs part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees in order to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce.
