Work at this level is not complex. Some wide variety of complex technical tasks will have engineer’s instructions.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerforms new process line setup and installation.\nPerform new BOM setup in SAP and MES.\nConducts semi-routine engineering and detailed experimental tests.\nKeeps detailed and accurate logs on all assigned activities.\nParticipate in yield and continuous improvement action.\nInvolve heavily in process optimization activities together with Process Engineers.\nAssists engineers to design, development, construction, and evaluation of process jigs andfixture.\nUnderstands, sustains and maintains production process flow.\nAdhere to organizational requirements on quality management, health and safety, code ofconduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies and general duty of care.\nMaintain confidentiality of all information related to the production processes and components, business and other technology including materials.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nLocation: Penang Science Park, Simpang Ampat\nWorks in a fast-paced manufacturing/engineering lab environment.\nCompletes many repetitive tasks that include the use of electronic equipment.\nAt time work with operators to complete product built base on the OMS instruction. Be and immediate guide to operators for any critical built.\nWorks under direct supervision and get support from engineer sometimes to understand new tasks.\nOvertime may be necessary in times of increased demand.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nAbility to operate basic box build toolings, such as torque drive, soldering system.\nAbility to exercise good judgment to resolve problems.\nGood communication ability and team work.\nKnowledge of BOM, SAP, MES, basic Microsoft skill, and etc.\nKnowledge of Basic English ability, reading ability is preferred.\nGood computational and technical skills.\nAbility to work independently and ability to be creative.\nEXPERIENCE:\nEssential:\nKnowledge of Process / Mechanical Engineering or related field.\nThree to five (3-5) years of experienced in manufacturing process.\nDesirable:\nBasic English knowledge.\nESD knowledge.\n5S knowledge.\nProduct manual assembly procedure knowledge.\nEDUCATION:\nTechnical school or Diploma level or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.\nWhy to join us?\nAs part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce.
