Headquartered in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, 1HMX operates eight manufacturing facilities across the United States, United Kingdom, India, Taiwan, and China, serving the aerospace, medical, industrial, robotics, energy, and gaming industries.\nKey Responsibilities\nTeam LeadershipAssign daily tasks and monitor workflow to meet shipping, receiving, and inventory goals.\nTrain and mentor warehouse associates on best practices, safety, and proper handling of materials.\nAct as the first point of escalation for employee questions and issues.\n\nOperations ManagementOversee receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipment of materials.\nEnsure proper labeling, documentation, and accuracy of inventory transactions.\nConduct cycle counts and support annual physical inventory.\nCollaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics to resolve discrepancies.\n\nSafety & ComplianceEnforce safe operating practices, including forklift operation and PPE usage.\nConduct daily safety checks and immediately address hazards or violations.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, OSHA, ITAR/EAR, and quality requirements.\n\nContinuous ImprovementRecommend process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and safety.\nSupport Lean initiatives, 5S, and other operational excellence efforts.\nAssist leadership with reporting and tracking key performance metrics through Visual Management tools.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nRequired\n3+ years of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics.\nStrong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and ERP transactions.\nAbility to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.\nExcellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.\nEffective communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.\nPreferred\n1+ year in a lead or supervisory role.\nForklift certification.\nPhysical Requirements\nLifting:Up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.\nStanding / Walking:Extended periods.\nMovement:Regular bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching required in a warehouse environment.\nAIS is an equal opportunity employer.
