Reporting to the VP of Finance/BI, this role is primarily responsible for understanding and interpreting financial and operational data - and what it means for the business - then communicating those insights clearly to RCM leadership, budget owners across the company, and executive management. This is an individual-contributor role focused on owning analysis and processes rather than managing people, and it is best suited to someone who thinks critically about what data is telling them, communicates confidently with senior leaders, and is comfortable serving as a connective point across finance, RCM, and client-facing teams.\nPrimary/Key Essential Functions & Responsibilities\nServe as the primary FP&A partner to the Revenue Cycle Management team, translating billing, collections, and AR data into clear insight on business performance.\nInterpret data and reporting provided by the BI/data team, identifying what trends, variances, and outliers mean for RCM operations and the broader business.\nManipulate and analyze data in Excel - building models, summaries, and ad hoc analyses from data already extracted or provided by BI and other systems.\nOwn the recurring FP&A reporting cycle for RCM, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking.\nAssist the CFO with monthly financial forecasting and budgeting.\nAssist the CFO with investor meeting preparation and financial modeling.\nHold monthly meetings with budget leaders across the company to review budget-vs-forecast performance.\nAssist the Director of Client Services with meetings with clinic partners, providing data and financial context as needed.\nBuild clear, executive-ready analyses and presentations that translate financial and operational data into actionable recommendations.\nIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities in revenue cycle performance and proactively bring them to leadership's attention.\nPartner with the BI/data team to ensure the data and reports needed for financial analysis are accurate, timely, and well-structured.\nContinuously improve FP&A processes and reporting supporting the RCM organization and the broader business.\nEducation and/or Experience and Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered in place of a degree.\nRequired Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities\n6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related finance role.\nStrong Excel skills - able to manipulate, model, and analyze data, including reshaping data provided in formats that don't perfectly fit the question at hand.\nDemonstrated ability to interpret data and translate it into clear business insight and recommendations, not just report numbers.\nExperience building financial models and supporting forecasting/budgeting processes at the company or executive level.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to executive management, investors, or other senior stakeholders.\nComfortable leading recurring meetings with multiple stakeholders (e.g., budget-vs-forecast reviews with department leaders).\nStrong business acumen and comfort working cross-functionally with finance, RCM, client services, and BI/data teams.\nPreferred Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities\nExperience in healthcare, pharmacy, or revenue cycle management is a plus.\nPrior experience supporting investor relations, board reporting, or executive-level financial presentations.\nSQL experience is a plus, though not required - this role is not responsible for extracting data directly from source systems.\nExperience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.\nPrior experience owning or leading processes and projects, even without formal people-management responsibility.\nStandard Specifications\nThis job description describes the general nature and level of work and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or requirements.
