The Audio & Visual Technical Supervisor role puts you at the center of live event production, AV technology, and team leadership. You'll be the primary source of expertise for all things AV at the Client’s headquarters, trusted to ensure every event and meeting exceeds expectations and runs without a hitch. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced AV professional who thrives in fast-paced settings and wants to make a real difference every day.\nThis is a full-time, onsite position in Menlo Park, CA. All candidates must currently live within a commutable distance to Menlo Park, CA.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead the Team\nAct as the senior AV point of contact, managing Flex support staff and vendor technicians.\n\nSupervise onsite and remote AV Technicians, ensuring technical readiness and staff coordination.\n\nTrain and mentor junior AV staff and freelance crew.\n\nKeep Systems Running Smoothly\nMaintain AV equipment in event spaces and executive conference rooms.\n\nPerform regular preventative maintenance and system health checks.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.\n\nDocument system issues, fixes, and AV workflows for internal use.\n\nManage Inventory and Workflows\nMaintain accurate AV equipment inventory and coordinate repairs or replacements.\n\nArchive technical documentation in line with Robinhood and ASG standards.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement of AV operations and SOPs.\n\nDeliver Top-Tier Event Support\nLead and operate AV systems for live events, executive meetings, and corporate communications.\n\nSet up and manage microphones, speakers, displays, projectors, and video conferencing tools for indoor and outdoor events.\n\nProvide end-to-end event support, from pre-event setup and testing to live execution and teardown.\n\nMonitor and adjust audio and video feeds for the best performance and quality.\n\nOperate and support video switchers, routers, and streaming platforms as needed.\n\nHandle Equipment Management\nSupport the management of VC conferencing equipment and Logitech equipment for RMA. This includes incident ticketing of AV equipment, purchasing, and PO processing.\n\nOversee Event Maestro Management, including development, direction, and oversight of a full-stack internal dashboard.\n\nThis job description is not designed to list every possible duty or responsibility. Bring\nStrong background supporting high-level corporate AV environments and executive communications.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of video systems, lighting systems, audio systems, communication (intercom) systems, and streaming software.\n\nAbility to independently troubleshoot audio, video, and networked AV systems.\n\nProven ability to lead technical operations in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.\n\nExcellent communication and customer service skills, especially when working with executive stakeholders.\n\nStrong organizational and documentation practices.\n\nRequired Experience\n7-10+ years of experience in AV technical operations, including team or vendor management.\n\nDemonstrated experience supporting and delivering live corporate events, with a proven track record of handling all aspects of event AV, from setup through live execution and real-time troubleshooting.\n\nWorking knowledge of AV-over-IP, Dante, NDI, or similar technologies.\n\nPreferred Qualifications and Certifications\nExperience supporting hybrid meetings and remote contributors.\n\nFamiliarity with control room environments and multi-camera productions.\n\nCertifications such as
