Founded in 1997, and providing nationwide services, ASG has teams based in North America, South America, and Europe.\nJob Summary\nAs a Control Room Technician, you’ll create and operate livestream broadcasts, working as an Image Operator/AD, Carousel Operator, Xpression Operator, Remote Coordinator, or Prompter. This is a Flex, on-site position based in Midtown Manhattan, New York. You’ll maintain and update tracking documents, partner closely with the producer team on incoming requests and changes, and manage ASIN/SKU information to keep production running efficiently. You’ll work with tools including OBS, Xpression, and AWS MediaLive to ensure quality streams and provide top-notch customer service with a solutions-oriented mindset. The right person excels at detail, communication, creative problem-solving, and navigating deadline pressures.\nThis is a flex position with variable hours, working as needed based on business needs. Occasional early, late, or event-based support may be required.\nWhat You'll Do\nCarousel Operator\nManage the creation of all broadcasts.\n\nOwn and maintain tracking documents containing all broadcast information.\n\nCollaborate daily with the producer team to manage incoming requests and all changes.\n\nAdd all ASINs/SKU information to broadcasts.\n\nManage creation and influencer proxy access for all channels.\n\nDiagnose issues in the Creator App and troubleshoot with the product team.\n\nCreate and maintain SOPs for daily functions and new developments.\n\nStay in close and frequent communication with the control room team, including the director.\n\nModerate live chats.\n\nManage rollout videos and track them.\n\nStart, stop, monitor, and configure streaming encoders and apps such as Restream, AWS Elemental MediaLive, AWS Elemental MediaConnect, AWS CloudWatch, AWS S3, EEG Falcon, EEG Lexi.\n\nMonitor livestreams to confirm proper audio, video, captions, lip sync, and stream stability.\n\nManage and set closed captioning.\n\nImage Operator/AD\nBuild and prep graphic assets (full frame images and b-roll) and operate all livestream broadcasts.\n\nAssist the director with rundown timing.\n\nManage rundowns in Shoflo/Airtable.\n\nStay updated on the Client's platform trends, features, and best practices to enhance our live streaming efforts.\n\nSet up Xpression before each stream for the director to remotely control.\n\nRemote Production\nManage screen grabs of remote sets for Airtable documentation.\n\nAnalyze and deliver critical data to the production crew via internal tools as needed.\n\nMake decisions on remote stream content placement and oversee trafficking.\n\nOperate independently in a directorial way by setting up shots and identifying optimal camera movements.\n\nPartner with TD/director and engineering team to onboard and manage the flow of remote guests.\n\nManage the process of greeting remote talent and guests, ensuring they are prepared and providing tools and guidance needed for production.\n\nManage communication between the control room, remote talent, and remote crew.\n\nWork directly with the producer team, talent, and talent teams.\n\nPrompter\nRoll prompter during in-studio shows.\n\nManage product pages of show for talent.\n\nWork with talent on font sizing.\n\nXpression\nBuild and manipulate graphics in Xpression.\n\nCreate welcome slates for tours.\n\nCommunicate with the graphics department about any graphical changes or missing elements.\n\nAssign graphics to triggers.\n\nRequired\nHigh school diploma\n\nAdvanced experience with OBS software\n\nExperience in television, film, or postproduction\n\nBasic computer knowledge\n\nAble to stand for extended
