Ensure documentation is completed as expected.\nMonitors Site Safety Self-Assessments and conducts site audits to ensure site compliance with the organization’s safety programs.\nMonitors reports of hazardous conditions, unsafe acts, and near hits, makes adjustments to improve the safety of the work environment.\nMonitors Safety Dashboard and provide coaching to site leadership to improve performance.\nDevelops and implements safety and environmental programs as assigned by EHS Managers or EHS Director. \nAssist sites in developing annual Safety Training Plan and monitor compliance.\nProvides site specific safety training and ensures proper documentation and records of completed training.\nIntegrates all safety programs into new site start-ups to ensure a safe and healthy work environment upon service delivery.\nWorks with Site Safety Coordinators to ensure safety objectives at the sites are met.\nCommunicates with customer safety contacts to ensure alignment and to address any compliance issues.\nServes as a mentor for EHS Associates and Site Safety Coordinators\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:\nEssential KSAs:\nBachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety and 2-4 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience\nProficient in OSHA and EPA regulations\nAbility to travel at least 50% of the time\nDesirable KSAs:\nPrevious experience working with safety programs in a manufacturing environment preferred\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nCertified in OHST (Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician) or ASP (Associate Safety Professional)\nCompetencies:\nCommunications\nPersonal Discipline\nCustomer Focus\nSafety\nPhysical Demands and Working Conditions: \nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, ascend/descend or balance to heights that may require a ladder or lift; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. Work is typically performed in a factory environment and is usually very loud.
