As we grow, we're looking for experienced technicians who can hit the ground running and grow with us.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Data Center Field Technician, you'll be a core part of our operations - performing hands-on repair, maintenance, and installation work both in our Carrollton facility and at client data center sites across the country. This role is built for someone who already knows Bitcoin mining hardware, communicates clearly under pressure, and takes ownership of their work.\nThis is not an entry-level position. We expect you to bring knowledge, professionalism, and a strong work ethic from day one. In return, ACS offers real growth opportunities within a fast-moving company where your contributions are visible and valued.\nField assignments may require travel to data center locations, ranging from a single day to one to two weeks.\nResponsibilities\nPerform on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of Bitcoin miners and associated equipment\nDiagnose hardware and firmware issues using diagnostic tools and software, and determine proper solutions\nConduct cleaning, inspection, assembly, and disassembly of mining equipment\nPerform and document pre- and post-repair performance testing\nProvide clear, professional technical guidance to clients on equipment operation and maintenance\nCommunicate repair status, findings, and recommendations to both internal teams and clients in a timely manner\nSubmit accurate service reports, expense documentation, and technical feedback\nSupport warehouse operations during off-field periods\nHandle heavy equipment safely (miners can exceed 45 lbs for extended periods)\nUphold ACS quality standards, SOPs, and safety protocols at all times\nQualifications\nRequired\nMinimum 1 year of provable, hands-on Bitcoin mining experience - data center operations, mining repair, or running and managing mining hardware at scale\nStrong communication skills - you must be able to speak clearly with clients on-site, provide detailed updates to the internal team, and document your work accurately\nSolid troubleshooting and critical thinking skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving\nAbility to lift 45+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods\nComfortable with travel and flexible scheduling\nProficiency with diagnostic tools and field service workflows\nNice to Have\nExperience with immersion-cooled mining systems\nFamiliarity with Bitmain, MicroBT, or Canaan hardware platforms\nPrior client-facing field service experience\nCompensation\n\nSituation\nPay\n\nStandard hourly rate\n$23.00 - $25.00 / hr (based on experience)\n\nField day (local, no overnight)\nBase pay + $50 day bonus\n\nTravel to site (overnight or extended)\nBase pay + $100 day bonus\n\nGrowth at ACS\nACS is a growing company with expanding service lines, client accounts, and internal departments.
