is seeking a Consultant Microbiologist to provide clinical leadership within Medical Microbiology.\nThis is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of microbiology services within a modern healthcare facility, including involvement in workflow optimisation, quality systems, and future laboratory automation initiatives.\nYou will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support infection management, diagnostics, and patient safety across the hospital.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide clinical and laboratory oversight of microbiology services\nLead development of laboratory protocols, workflows, and quality systems\nSupport laboratory accreditation and continuous quality improvement\nParticipate in Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) and Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) programmes\nProvide specialist microbiology advice to clinicians and hospital teams\nContribute to education, training, and supervision of junior staff\nParticipate in research, audit, and service development initiatives\nCandidate Requirements\nMBBS or equivalent medical degree\nSpecialist qualification in Microbiology / Pathology (FRCPath, FRCPA or equivalent)\nEligible for
