This role works in close collaboration with teams inside and outside of the IT department to deliver critical new services, systems, and capabilities to Advarra.\nJob Duties & Responsibilities\nProject Management\nUnderstand a project’s overall context and value to the organization. \nWork with subject matter experts to decompose a project into individual components allocated team members can act on. \nWork with subject matter experts to estimate effort for all portions of a project. \nLead on-site and virtual meetings related to ongoing projects. \nDeliver regular status reports to project stakeholders. \nFacilitate cross-functional conversations with project stakeholders, project sponsors, subject matter experts, decision makers, and leadership as required. \nEvaluate project impact to individuals, teams, and the overall organization and make recommendations to stakeholders for how to manage. \nEnsure projects are managed in a transparent way ensuring all interested parties can be apprised of progress. \nTrack and document key decisions made during a project. \nWork with project stakeholders to establish project success criteria. Ensure success criteria is met during project implementation. \nConvert project tasks to units of assignable work within a ticket tracking system. \nClearly communicate emergent risks, challenges, and schedule changes to project stakeholders in a timely manner. \nMaintain a current project schedule from estimates from SMEs and committed time from allocated team members. \nAdjust schedules and re-task allocated team members to respond to business priorities and objectives. \nCapture lessons learned and process improvement recommendations for leadership once a project is complete. \nLeadership\nEffectively manage allocated team members without being a direct manager. \nProvide clear communication to allocated team members about progress and performance. \nEstablish alignment with allocated team members to complete needed tasks. \nUnderstand challenges that team members encounter with assigned tasks and determine how to escalate or resolve. \nIdentify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with stakeholders to implement. \nLocation\nThis role is open to candidates working remotely in the United States.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management, related discipline, or relevant work experience \nExperience managing small, medium, and/or large projects impacting individual teams to entire organizations. \nExperience or exposure to Information Technology operations within an organization. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with a regulatory or information security framework and how it applies to projects. \nDemonstrated knowledge of at least one Project Management tool or program (Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, Monday, etc). \nDemonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office suite tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar. \nDemonstrated accountability in project participation and solution-oriented work. \nDemonstrated knowledge of ticket tracking systems (Jira, ServiceNow, etc). \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nPlanning, organizing, setting objectives, and managing time to meet deadlines. \nPhysical and Mental Requirements\nSit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation\nRegularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs. \nLearn and comprehend basic instructions\nFocus and attention to tasks and responsibilities\nVerbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking \nAdvarra is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to providing a workplace that is free from discrimination and harassment of any kind based on race, color, religion, creed, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions, sexual orientation, and gender identity), national origin, age, disability or genetic information, or any other status or characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.\nThe base salary range for this role is $83,204 - $152,540. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above.
